Passenger train traffic between Sweden and Finland begins in August
Tickets are already available and first trains run on 10th of August. The trains run between Oulu and Haparanda.

River Tana has changed its course through sandbanks and bacause of that, 209 border posts was remapped. Last time demarcation process of the border between Finland and Norway was done in 2003.
