r/neoliberal view on Spain

I noticed that the subreddit somewhy seems to prefer Pedro Sanchez and the PSOE over Alberto Nunez Feijoo and the People's Party despite the latter being significantly closer to the subreddit's ideology. Once I saw that the biggest argument is that Pedro Sanchez supports immigration, which is a very weird to support him especially when coupled with his policies such as refusing to build more housing and increasing rent control. I don't know if I am the only one who seems to notice this, but please correct me otherwise, and because according to some people it is against their beliefs that the People's Party works with Vox, but at the same time seem to turn a blind eye to the fact that the PSOE works with parties like Podemos and Sumar, and this is especially funny when Feijoo himself is from the more moderate wing of the party, and he himself is considered a liberal by many in Spain.

Asking German neoliberals: Can the FDP really come back?

I recently had a chat with a German friend of mine who always voted for the Free Voters in Rhineland-Palatinate.

We had a talk about Merz, and how he took up the voters that would usually vote for the FDP, which was one of the reasons they failed to enter Parliament. However, we also touched on the topic of why Merz is falling behind in polling, including how one major part of the reason is that he had to water down a lot of plans the CDU/CSU had originally had because of the SPD (Once again they ruin everything). But this made me wonder...

Could this in any way lead (among other factors) to the FDP returning to relevance in German politics? I genuinely wonder this, because the FDP has been an important party in the politics of the country since World War II, and they are also no stranger to being kicked out of Parliament and then returning. So I would really like to ask Germans on this server if Germany's default neoliberal party can still return to relevance or if they are really gone forever at this point.

When I asked my friend, he only told me that he didn't think about this, so he didn't have a straightforward answer, but he did say it is a possibility.
