Miner Evolution Concept: Shark Attack 🦈

Miner Evolution Concept: Shark Attack 🦈

Miner Evolution Concept — Shark Attack 🦈

I’ve been thinking about a Miner Evolution that could work both visually and gameplay-wise.

Basically, the Miner becomes a beach-themed character who thinks he's a shark.

Visual

He'd wear swim shorts, a swimming cap and glowing purple swimming goggles replacing the candle on his helmet.

He'd also have a duck floatie, swim fins, a rubber shark fin on his back and a small purple seashell necklace.

His shovel would be replaced with a small plastic beach shovel with a purple stone in the handle.

Evolution Ability — Shark Attack

The Miner can still burrow and emerge anywhere.

When he emerges, a small shark fin slides across the ground first, as if he's swimming underground. Then he jumps out like a shark attacking its prey, dealing a small amount of AoE damage and knocking nearby enemies back.

The damage would kill fragile troops like Skeletons and Goblins, while the knockback would be similar to a weaker Log.

For example:

Miner emerges → damages + knocks back the Knight → Miner reaches the tower.

I think this could create an interesting interaction with how Miner is currently played.

Players often have "safe" Miner positions around the Princess Tower, and experienced opponents can learn these patterns and place troops there to catch him.

With this Evolution, those predictable positions become less punishing, since the emergence itself can push defenders away.

It could also have some defensive utility, like dropping the Miner on a Goblin Barrel or using the emergence as a mini-Log in an emergency.

I wouldn't give him any extra Crown Tower damage. The goal would be to make Miner positioning more tactical and unpredictable, not simply make him deal more damage.

Evolution cycle: 2

What do you think? Would this be balanced, or would the AoE + knockback make Miner completely broken?

Suggestion: Spiritual Empress rework — turning her into a Champion

Do you think this would fix the Spirit Empress, or make her too strong?

Right now, she has a big control issue between her air and ground forms.

  • If you have too much elixir, you're forced to waste it just to play her on the ground.
  • If you play her on the ground and the situation changes, you’re stuck — no way to switch to air.

What if she was reworked into a Champion?

  • Base form (ground): 3 elixir
  • Ability: 3 elixir → switches to air (permanent flight)

This would remove the awkward elixir control and make her way more flexible.

Maybe even adding something more, because honestly:

  • Ground form feels like a worse Knight.
  • Air form is too expensive for what it does.

Maybe the dragon could even attack to make it more worth it.

Currently, its utilization rate is virtually nonexistent overall — this could, in fact, make it viable.

What do you think? Good fix or broken idea?
