A group of degenerates ambush and knock out an innocent man with a bat and leave his head dangling over a puddle of water

Lesson? Either run away once a person hits you in the face or fight back, poor guy was probably trying to deliver something.

Is Clash Royale a solved game?

Back in 2016, 2017, and 2018, esports players were letting troops get away with damage on their towers, but they knew placements, and they knew card synergy. Fast forward to 2022-2023, players were letting troops get value without immediately dropping a spell or ranged card, and waited to commit instead of immediately making a decision to counterpush or defend and fix their cycle. Now, it feels like the game is solved. Swarm? Instant zap. You play evo ebarbs and mother witch? They predict the next mother witch with a knight ability. Now at the top level, taking any damage from a card that isn't a spell is like a death sentence. You just lose the game. Everyone is trying to mess up their opponents cycle, plays a deck that forces awkward placements, and avoids as much damage as possible.

Barb Hut Rework Idea

This idea has been at the back of my mind for quite some time.

Next time we’ll be talking about how to delete elixir collector from the game.

Miner Evolution Concept: Shark Attack 🦈

Miner Evolution Concept — Shark Attack 🦈

I’ve been thinking about a Miner Evolution that could work both visually and gameplay-wise.

Basically, the Miner becomes a beach-themed character who thinks he's a shark.

Visual

He'd wear swim shorts, a swimming cap and glowing purple swimming goggles replacing the candle on his helmet.

He'd also have a duck floatie, swim fins, a rubber shark fin on his back and a small purple seashell necklace.

His shovel would be replaced with a small plastic beach shovel with a purple stone in the handle.

Evolution Ability — Shark Attack

The Miner can still burrow and emerge anywhere.

When he emerges, a small shark fin slides across the ground first, as if he's swimming underground. Then he jumps out like a shark attacking its prey, dealing a small amount of AoE damage and knocking nearby enemies back.

The damage would kill fragile troops like Skeletons and Goblins, while the knockback would be similar to a weaker Log.

For example:

Miner emerges → damages + knocks back the Knight → Miner reaches the tower.

I think this could create an interesting interaction with how Miner is currently played.

Players often have "safe" Miner positions around the Princess Tower, and experienced opponents can learn these patterns and place troops there to catch him.

With this Evolution, those predictable positions become less punishing, since the emergence itself can push defenders away.

It could also have some defensive utility, like dropping the Miner on a Goblin Barrel or using the emergence as a mini-Log in an emergency.

I wouldn't give him any extra Crown Tower damage. The goal would be to make Miner positioning more tactical and unpredictable, not simply make him deal more damage.

Evolution cycle: 2

What do you think? Would this be balanced, or would the AoE + knockback make Miner completely broken?

Didn't know Hero Knight's ability had so much range.

I'm not making fun of the opponent, I just find it funny. It reminded me of a GIF I saw of some guy trying to use Hero Knight's ability on royal hogs.

It has taken 10 years and 5 months to max all my cards.

I was 4 cards away from maxing the first level increase and 8 for the last one. I still have 4 evos to unlock and 1 hero but getting all cards to max level has been my main objective. I can go touch grass now...

Oh and definitely not a f2p account. I've bought a lot of season passes.

Evo ebarbs are officially used more than fireball

This is just crazy. Fireball is a versatile, all-around spell and ebarbs as a win condition is used more in ultimate champion. Theres no way we're going the next 20 days without a single balance change right? If this was any other card, it would have gotten an emergency nerf. I want to push to ultimate this season without having to face this once every three games, what is the logic behind not balancing it?
