I just got my earrings in the mail this past week. One of the earrings looks off, has black stuff and almost looks more dented in that section than the other pair. I’m not able to see it too closely since I don’t have a magnifying glass. Is it normal?

Should I have swap for the gold instead? I wear mix and match metals and opted for silver because it was cheaper. Just not sure silver suits my complexion.
