Which are some clean, hygienic and genuinely good restaurants/eating places in Belagavi?

In the last post, there was a discussion about the recent Tukaram Munde news and how some belagavi restaurants could potentially be shut down.

It got me thinking… instead of only talking about the bad ones, let’s also mention the places that actually maintain good hygiene and care about the food they serve.

Everyone would love to know some restaurants/joints in Belagavi that we can genuinely trust and recommend.

Also, I think it’s a nice way to appreciate the owners/staff who are doing things right.

How would you price and schedule a 10-module video eLearning course? SME films himself, I do all the post-production

I’m scoping a video-based eLearning course and want a sanity check on pricing and timeline from people who do this regularly.

The setup:

  1. The subject-matter expert films and narrates himself on green screen and hands me the raw footage plus his slide content. So I’m not filming or writing the content.
  2. My scope is everything after that: green screen removal, custom backgrounds, on-screen graphics, editing and narration sync, captions, quizzes, intro and outro, and packaging for hosting.
  3. Course size: 10 modules, around 250 slides total. A mix of talking-head video slides, supporting text and graphic slides, and roughly 10 quizzes (one per module).
  4. Client is UK-based. Small production team on my side.

I don’t yet know the exact split between talking-head slides and text or graphic slides, so it helps if you give rates by slide type rather than one blended number.

Questions:

  1. How would you price this: per slide, per finished minute, per module, or fixed project? And a rough range for each slide type?
  2. How long would you budget for production once the footage is in hand?
  3. any other suggestions?

I have a meeting with a Client. For Website Dev and SEO. How do I prepare for it?

So I own Web and SEO agency. I am going to connect on Zoom call with client who wants a website and more importantly SEO for next 6 months. I sent him a proposal/audit already with things like how the market he is planning to enter is doing now, competitor analysis like who they are, how they are doing SEO wise, what we need to do, cost and timeline etc. He liked it and proposed a call.

I know my craft very well.. but quite confused how to present all this on the call. Maybe I am bit overthinking. so my question to all folks here is

  1. What you usually do when you have a meeting with new client about Website and SEO?
  2. Any other tips, advise you would want to share with me.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hey guys,

Need some honest opinions on this.

I run IT company in India. A friend of mine referred us to one of the company, and we ended up closing the project. Now that client is also giving us recurring work.

The friend is asking for a straight 20% cut on the invoice value - not just for the first project, but also on all future/recurring work from that client.

I do understand that he brought the opportunity, so I’m happy to compensate him 20% for the first project. But 20% on everything else feels a bit too high from my side, especially since we handle all the work, communication, and also pay taxes on the full invoice amount here in India.

He mentioned that 20% referral is common practice in his country.

So just wanted to ask:

  • What’s a fair referral structure in this case?
  • Do people usually give commission on recurring work as well?
  • How do you guys typically structure these deals?

Would really appreciate some real-world insights 🙏
