I need to attend a meeting in Belagavi/Belgaum at 11:00 AM, around Ramdev Bus Stand.

Could someone please suggest the best bus route from Ashta, Maharashtra ? Is there any direct bus from Ashta to Belagavi, or would I need to change buses somewhere like Sangli/Kolhapur ?

Also, what is the early-morning bus frequency/timing ? I need to reach Belagavi well before 11 AM.

Any suggestions for the most reliable route, especially considering the morning travel time, would be really helpful.

I was riding my bike around 8:30 pm on 18 Aug in shivbasvanagar and there was a guy who literally blocked a whole lane with his maruti 800, so passing by i cursed age karlo(used a bad word)
After then i went on, but stopped to buy cig in a km
They came chasing me, the guy came out(4 of them) and slapped and beat me like hell
I am wrong and i fully accept it, but the reaction maybe even if as a lesson has shook me
I stood their allowing him to beat me until the crowd managed him, even despite that he was barging

I dont feel safe to proceed with any legal action as i live alone in the city and the guy who beat me up literally said “bahar ke log ake zyada bante”. So cops are definitely not safe area to me.

Maybe the fate and action have quick reaction here

I am from BIMS,Belagavi (I will remain anonymous,dont dm asking me personal details ), and I would like to bring people of Bims and Belagavi attention to this ;
The OP of that post replied to someone asking proof about NEET SCAM and mentioned about the possibility of fraud of AIR (below 10) some years ago , who chose Bims;
I had heard my juniors say that she failed a final exam in their third year,(while 70% students pass final exam of each year in 1st attempt )
also some people of her coaching class (like teachers ,students say she was consistently scoring low in her mock test ,and failed her 12th physics boards )
Can someone verify this (preferably from BIMS ) ? I know for sure some students who are struggling to pass 1st year mbbs in Bims from 3-4 years have fraudulently obtained through some quota )
Is there political involvement or purely financial.
Also they are allowing NRI seats in government setup for raising funds for super speciality .
while I personally faced no problem because of aforementioned people ,is it really a government meritorius college when people are scamming/buying though ?
someone really needs to investigate this ,maybe it is a even bigger scam going around this city relating to NEET.

In the last post, there was a discussion about the recent Tukaram Munde news and how some belagavi restaurants could potentially be shut down.

It got me thinking… instead of only talking about the bad ones, let’s also mention the places that actually maintain good hygiene and care about the food they serve.

Everyone would love to know some restaurants/joints in Belagavi that we can genuinely trust and recommend.

Also, I think it’s a nice way to appreciate the owners/staff who are doing things right.

I was preparing for other exam and KCET wasn't my primary focus, i did partially clear my other exam (cleared one subject, couldn't reach the cutoff for 2nd subject by 5 marks) I won't lie, I didn't study for boards nor KCET . I got 85% in boards and 85k in kcet. I couldn't get my desired college and branch through kcet, soo I'll be joining SGBIT for ECE this year. But I've been told that people in sgbit are non ambitious, not cool, narrow minded unlike in kle and git. Is it true?

I had imagined a lot about my college life, attending hackathons, feasts, concerts, cool friend group, carrer driven friends who would push eachother to do well and what not. Now I'm just worried how I'll spend my 4 years between people like them. Lmk if it is true about SGBIT.

I’m working on putting together a trivia/knowledge quiz event in Belagavi and wanted to get an honest opinion from people here before we go ahead with it.

The idea is pretty simple teams of 2, a live quiz, different categories, some time pressure, and an actual competitive format rather than just a casual pub quiz.

There would be an entry fee, but we’re also planning a decent prize pool for the winners.

Would you actually pay an entry fee and spend an evening competing against other teams if the questions and prize pool were good?

Also interested in knowing:

• What would you consider a reasonable entry fee?
• What kind of prize pool would make it worth participating?
• Would you come with friends, or would you be interested in being matched with another team?

Not trying to sell anything here - just genuinely trying to figure out whether there’s an audience for this in Belagavi before we put the whole thing together.

I'm new to the city and I want to know which is the best theatre I saw many reviews that all theatres are worst blah blah especially I thought inox might be good but when I saw the screen 2 of inox its worst screen I've seen in my entire life so please tell me guys which theatre has best sound, picture quality most importantly screen should be big and ambience should also be a 4/5, I'm asking to watch TOXIC movie! I and my family were looking to buy plots in and around Belagavi for investment purpose. Our Budget was somewhere around 30-35 Lakhs. But after some calculations we decided not to buy plots.

Reason were - If today the plot is for 30 lakhs, even after 5-10 years if we sell it for 45-50 lakhs, Who would buy such an expensive plots. Moreover the constrution cost is sky rocketing day by day.

So here are the coordinates of the plots which I feel are great for investment purposes. Kindly use Satellite images to check the plots.

1. The Plots near Belagavi Public School Shindoli - 15°49'47.4"N 74°34'43.2"E

The developers are very bullish and invested a lot for developing these areas. I instantly liked all the plots. Can buy any plots, you will surely get good returns.

2. The Hidden gem - Near Podar school, Sambra Road, Belgaum - 15°51'12.4"N 74°32'31.5"E -

I had seen an ad in a newspaper about this developer - Very experienced developer and has great reputation. Moreover PATSON AUTOMOTIVE PRIVATE LIMITED has already invested and building something 100 metres from the plot.

3. Devraj Urus Colony Plots - Basavan Kudachi Plots - 15°51'12.4"N 74°32'31.5"E - These plots are very good - There are also development of houses going on.

4. Mahalaxmi Nagar Plots - My personal favourite - The area is covered by many Army people - Has great connectivity and surroundings - 15.8603735, 74.4841678

After researching all the plots carefully there are only few areas which are great for either investment or to build your own house. Mahalaxmi Nagar, Basavan Kudachi, Shindoli, Indal Nagar, Kanabargi (I feel that Kanabargi might be hit or miss since the crowd over there are not so sophisticated), Anywhere near Sambra road and Near Suvarna Soudha.

I wont buy plots from the above 4 plots coordinates, because it would mean I would exhaust my entire savings - I would consider going for a loan as well but dont want to risk it. I really wish to buy it but cant because of less money. I dont know who will get lucky enough and flip the plots for good profit. But All the best for it.

My humble advice - Make sure to sell the plot under 50 lakhs - Because no one would invest such a large amount of savings on a plot and then construct a home over it. The budget of the buyer would go easily under 1.5 Crore.

And in 1.5 Crore people would rather buy fully furnished apartment.
