Will it rot off?
Is the second one (that's under the shield) going to rot being against the moss and underneath like that? I wanted to pull it off before mounting, but was too scared to! First sf's, and while I could tell it was a separate plant with its own rhizome under there, it was so stuck to the one that has the shield, I didn't feel like I could pull it off without damaging anything.
