I'd love some feedback on whether you feel this cover is doing its job, please. The story centres around a civilisation that worships an artificial sun without fully understanding what it actually is, so I’ve tried to make the cover feel ancient, ritualistic and technologically strange. It's definitely not space opera.

Does it read as speculative/literary science fiction? Is anything too distracting? Does the tagline feel intrusive or unnecessary? Would appreciate your thoughts.

(This is a personal project just for some fun and sharpening my skills. It's in the very final stages so it'll just be minor tweaks from here.)
