
Thesis research :Decoding the Cozy Game Phenomenon

As part of my Master's thesis in Marketing, I am researching the business and communication strategies used by cozy game publishers to appeal to female and casual players. My study focuses on how publishers break away from traditional, male-dominated gaming codes by leveraging specific visual aesthetics, emotional and psychological triggers, and lifestyle influencer marketing.
I am currently looking for two types of profiles to help me with my research:
- Female casual gamers (aged 18 to 40) who play relaxing games like Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, Unpacking, Disney Dreamlight Valley, The Sims, or Palia. The process involves a 30 to 45-minute anonymous audio or video chat about your relationship with these games and how their marketing appeals to you.
