Soccer at the Downtown Dallas Eyeball - 6/26/26
Every Saturday during the World Cup.
Every Saturday during the World Cup.
And I found it and reported it using the Niantic map because they tried to nominate other holes. Keep the map clean!
Thankfully it was a duplicate so I didn’t have a decision to make.
Downtown Dallas Inc. puts on a lot of fun events downtown. Last night’s bar crawl had people roaming the streets and supporting Pride. Follow them on social media for future events!
Saw this advertisement going up by my building today. Googled it but didn’t see any announcements. Ordered one from downtown and sure enough, it’s back!
It appears that the plaque is real but the placement makes no sense. Streetview shows a basketball hoop on this pole.
I don’t think Ken Paxton has violated these yet so he can sue away if Dallas ISD doesn’t post them and not be a total hypocrite.
It’s on their front porch with that tacky sign. This is in Forney, Texas.
A friend told me about witnessing a confrontation with a guy wearing a Nazi shirt earlier today. Fast forward tonight and someone posted a pic of this on the Dallas subreddit. I live down here and could get to it quickly. The Mods over there are deleting the posts about it.
When you come into my hood, please do your part to dispose of litter. If you see any litter on the ground or the wall, please dispose of it on the proper place.
On private property too. At least they tried!
I walked by it yesterday and saw them putting up the decals on the windows. https://www.dallasfwc26.com/our-venues/ibc/
The Wilson building was the tallest structure in Dallas from 1904 to 1909. I always love walking by here and admiring its history.
MSY doesn’t have an Admirals Club. I’m EP and have a Citi Executive card. I had no qualms paying the $60 to enter the lounge. But when I checked in, the guy at the front asked me what credit card I had and then scanned my boarding pass. Afterward, he told me that AA will reimburse me for the $60 fee if I call them. He gave me a receipt. Has anybody experienced this before? Google didn’t produce any verifiable results. Thanks in advance.
I came to New Orleans to meet up with my girlfriend and she discovered Jazz Fest was going on. We decided to go on Sunday, May 3rd. I usually get anxiety when dealing with unfamiliar crowds. I was also concerned after seeing a lot of the posts on here about people and their chairs, tarps, blankets, etc. and also long lines to get in, food, bathrooms, etc. I could not have been more wrong. I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly the lines moved and how friendly the concert-goers were. The staff and volunteers could not have been more efficient moving people through lines. My girlfriend even had trouble pulling up her ticket on her phone and the ladies at the Ticket Help tent were so accommodating and were able to locate it and print her out a hard copy. Even with all sorts of alcohol and a hot sun, the people were so cool around us. We even saw workers picking recyclables out of the regular trash. I can’t wait to come back again!
