Cavernosogram Result - Venous Leak
If you’re someone who has erectile dysfunction but ’normal’ results on penile ultrasound - I recommend getting a cavernosogram done! Mine ended up finding a leak, and I have an upcoming procedure to embolise some of the problematic veins. I’m still not sure what the connection is between SSRIs and venous leaks, but I never had any issues whatsoever with sexual function before taking an SSRI. In any case it’s worth discussing with your doctor!

Interesting clue! CYP2C19 gene variation - slow metabolizer of antidepressants
I got my genome sequenced and it picked up a variation in the gene CYP2C19 which slows antidepressant metabolism, particularly sertraline. Recommendations are to prescribe a lower sertraline dose to patients with this gene variant to avoid overexposure, but that didn't happen for me. I'm interested to know if anyone else with PSSD also has this gene variant and took sertraline
"Based on the relative differences in serum concentrations compared to NMs, dose reductions of 60% and 25% should be considered in PMs and IMs, respectively, to reduce the risk of sertraline overexposure in these patients."
