2021 Chevy Bolt premier

I want Comma on my 21 Bolt or trade for a 27 with super cruise. I have read and watched videos. My understanding is that comma is currently better than super cruise.

Could someone please ELI5 (explain like I'm 5)

• what I need to purchase for comma to work on a 21 bolt ev
• who should I buy from
• what I need to buy
• how difficult is the comma system to install?
• I guess anything else someone thinks I should know or be aware of

Wife and I currently own: 2016 Toyota sienna 3.5 V6, and a 2021 Chevy Bolt EV.

My wife's boss is evil! He bought a '26 Tesla model s plaid with FSD. He then drove to our house and gave us a ride, and let my wife drive it. FSD was really impressive. Now my wife and I are interested in a vehicle with some autonomy.

We will absolutely not buy a Tesla for several personal reasons.

We have a test drive for an R1S in a couple of days. We think we want an R2 Performance Launch edition. Definitely interested in the autonomy+ package

As a current or former rivian owner:

1. Would you go full electric and trade in your last ICE vehicle (2016 Toyota sienna)?

• Our kids are grown and have their own vehicles and lives, so we don't need minivan room any more, although it does haul a full 4x8 sheet of plywood

2. How well does the Rivian self driving work?

• I know its new, and there may not be a lot of experience with it yet.

3. Do I need to wait for Lidar?

• Tesla doesn't currently have it, and FSD seems pretty good. (I know it has its issues)
• Will Rivian be able to do or come close to what Tesla can do, without Lidar?

4. How has your reliability on a Rivian been for you?

• Any major issues, how often is your vehicle down, how's the dealership experience for buying and repairs.
• Anything I should be aware of, or cautious of befor buying an R1S or an R2
