What email service should I use? I kinda have a wishlist.

Hi guys, I'm trying to migrate from Gmail to a more secure system. I've done some research on different providers like tuta, mailbox, poster, and Proton. But here's what I'd like to find.

Custom domain support

IMAP support.

Encryption in transit and at rest.

A good amount of aliases.

Preferably accepts USD (I could pay in other currencies, like EU. But I'd like to avoid conversion fees if possible. I don't have crypto.)

And from a company in a country with good pracy practices.

I already use Proton VPN with a Proton mail address, but I'd like to avoid relying on an ecosystem if possible.

This might not exist, but i'm curious

Hey so, i've been using Gmail since I was 12 years old. To the point I have registered for federal or government accounts with that email. I've become interested in degoogling, but I want to keep that address active. I was searching for an email service thats secure and will let me set that address as an alias if I can. I dont think there's a service that'll let me do that, but I'm optimistic. Is there a way to make that happen?

D335 intro to python attempt 2

After the exam was done I closed my laptop and was too scared to open it and check my results. I was in this class for 2 months and it was hard. My advice, take the PA and the zybooks practice tests, and then take them again, then again, and again. Focus on what was bringing you down and try to focus on those exclusively for a minute. Then take the PA again and bring it all together. You're instructor will have great resources and stidy guides to help you. Good luck, you'll need it.

Proton protocols not available on linux gui 4.17.1 (latest)? (Linux mint)

I'm on linux mint 22.3 using the Ubuntu installation and its been working as well as it should. I didn't notice proton protocols got added to it until now, so I wanted to test it. But its not there. I've turned on beta access and updated through the update manager and terminal which did update the proton python packages. And I enabled the unstable repo in the update manager. I've restarted the computer, nothing.

I know mint isn't directly supported, the app has only worked due to the Ubuntu base. Has anyone been able to get it working?

D335 intro to python. I'm sorry.

Studying for this class this month, plus work projects, and prepping for a trip my sister's been dying to drag me on has really taken my time and energy. If this was a multiple choice test, i could guess the rest. But i got stuck trying to remember how to write most of the advanced subjects. The help and dir functions weren't jogging anything. Now i'm not sure what studying for next attempt is going to look like with the trip being this weekend. Why did I agree to go on that??? I've scheduled with my CI immediately. I'm stressed, burnt out, and just want to pass this class.

Any way to get online with the physical copy?

Hey guys, it's been 4 years since I was last in this sub.

Anyway, a friend of mine picked up a copy of the game while thrifting and I'm curious if I can get him access to the sporepedia. I know they stopped updating the CD version long before the other versions, even before they fixed online a few years back. I think there was a modded patch at one point that fixed the CD version. But I'm having trouble finding it. Anything I can do to help him?

Thinking about changing my major

Hey guys, i'm about 52% through a BS in Data analytics. I've been working in IT help-desk for a few months now. And I'm finding that I really like working with the other tech teams, including network, infrastructure, etc. We do have a data team but they're operations are mostly separate, I don't hear alot out of them unless they have a tech issue.

I'm thinking about maybe changing to networking. I've been talking with them the most and it's been nice. I like getting the chance to work with them and i'm curious more and more about the stuff they do. Is this worth it?
