"When i told my gf she was sadder about losing her friend who abused me than How these things made me feel."

"Throwaway. When I was 8 or nine I was regularly raped by my older female cousin."

"One of my best friends was raped by a woman he was drinking with."

"What can I say except I was viscously raped by a woman when I was 11 years old.

She was a next door neighbour."

"I don't have memories after this, but I've had two different girls tell me the stories since, laughing. Apparently it got to a point where although I was much bigger and faster than her (I was an athlete, she was TINY) I was so drunk that I couldn't run fast without tripping... so I would run away, but then fall on something and she would catch up.

At one point I tried locking myself in a room, but when the others found out they unlocked the door and let her in.

My first memory that morning? I woke up butt naked, with her sitting on my lap trying to get me awake for "more". Of course I got the fuck out of there, but to this day that's a funny story that everyone who knows about it tells."

"I awoke to a girl riding me, she even had the decency to put a condom on me. Once I realized what was happening I pushed her off of me and went into the other room where my roommate was sleeping on the couch (the girl had come over for a booty call for my roommate who had fallen asleep after i already had) I woke him up and pushed him off the couch and told him "to go deal with her"

I didnt have sex for about 2 months, i was kind of shaken up about it honestly, and like the other guy *he mentions another redditor* i only really bring it up when women are calling me a misogynist, pig, etc because I'm simply a man, saying i know nothing about sexual assault"

"Was home on leave from the army for 4th of July. A couple of friends were house sitting for an older couple on some biker rally. Anywho, my buddy, 4 girls, myself, and a couple other guys were throwing a small get together at the house, nothing big, and proceeded to get absolutely hammered. Most people left, and it was just my friend, 2 girls, and I. I asked one of the girls where i could sleep and she jokes around saying "any of the 2 rooms, but you have a 50/50 chance of sleeping with either of us". I chuckled and picked the room on the right.

Wrong choice.

At some point after passing out, i woke up, laying on my side naked, and i just saw this bare ass grinding against me. I thought WTF?? And fell back asleep. The next morning I'm still naked, the girl is trying to cuddle with me. I'm not really sure what happened yet, so i get up and realize I pissed the bed. All over rapey and myself, and the bed at the house we were visiting. Luckily i was naked so my clothes were clean. I took a shower and got a ride from the other girl and went home. A few days later i was back on base in Texas still not sure what happened.

The rapey girl starts telling all our mutual friends we had sex and how she really likes me but i pissed the bed yada yada. It was embarrassing. And it finally dawns on me what happened. Everyone starts giving me shit cus i had a girlfriend at the time. For years they just thought i was an asshole for cheating on my army gf with rapey chick, while being a bed wetter at 19."

"Drugged in college, woke up with a girl riding me that I had already told I wasn't trying to do that (before getting drugged). I groggily/ confusedly pushed her off and she didn't really put up a fight. Gave my chlamydia too. "By the way, I haven't finished my treatment for chlamydia". Wrote myself a note when I got home to make sure I remembered to get to a hospital in the morning."

"A bunch of us went to a house party at university, probably about 20 of us there. There was lots of drink, people getting drunk. One of my friends was getting drunk quicker than the rest of us and this fat ginger girl moved in close to him.

This girl was someone that people knew of, she lived in a house at the end of the road, and her housemates were involved in the party. Her housemates though were well-liked, a good bunch. This ginger girl though was not. The only reason the other girls had allowed her to move in to their house was that they needed a very last minute person to live in the final room.

My friend then got very drunk and walked upstairs to take a lie down on a bed. Shortly after, the ginger girl followed him, and we thought nothing of it.

10 minutes later, she came downstairs and immediately walked out the door. We immediately thought something was wrong, so me and a couple others hurried upstairs and found him lying in bed, but with this trousers down, penis exposed, and blood everywhere. We covered him up and carried him to the bathroom to help clean him and wake him up."

"When I was 17 I was already done school and took a job out of my home province (Canadian eh). Never been much of the partier type it was one of my first experiences drinking and seeing drugs. Well I had to much to drink one night and passed out in the hotel room early into a party. A couple hours when I awoke I was being played with on the floor of the hotel. I soon realised that it was one of my supervisors (working for a big box store so it did not mean much, she often partied with us). I asked her to stop a few times but I was fairly groggy and not too sure what was going on. I passed out again for a bit and woke up and she was riding me, bare back. It is all kind of blurry but I can remember her telling me that she needed to know when I was going to finish because she was not on BC. Now I'm a fairly big guy now but at the time I was fairly skinny and not very strong, and she was not a small lady. Anywhoo I passed out again, I'm not sure what happened after that I have no idea if I finished or even if you can passed out I have no idea. Only saw her a few more times at work then she was gone. The funny thing was that nobody believes you in you are a guy. It's all "you wanted it" and stuff. Nothing ever came of it. And I have not spoke about it in 4 years, nor ever put it here. But that's what its like."

"I got kicked out when I was 17 and ended up living with a friend who used to live in the same neighborhood but was much older, roughly 6-7 years. He lived with his girlfriend and her two roommates who were also female. Parties were a fairly common thing since they were all in college. Anyways.

One night before my 18th birthday they had a pretty big party with around 15-20 friends and a LOT of booze. Being the baby at the party people were encouraging me to take shots and drink beers etc. I ended up getting absolutely trashed and throwing up in the bathroom. This is where it's pretty fuzzy, but it's what I remember of the situation.

Two girls from the group of friends decided to take care of me since I was throwing up sick, they got me water, clean shirt, etc. I remember them getting me to brush my teeth so I could go to bed, sounds reasonable, right? I finished brushing and they walked me back to a small side room where I slept on a couch, they got me in, locked the door, and proceeded to take turns going down on me and making out with me. At first I wasn't really aware of what was happening because I was so drunk, after a while I snapped-to and tried to tell them I had a girlfriend and that I couldn't do it. One of the girls was very indignant saying something like "We took care of you, we deserve some fun." Or something like that.

I blacked out again and came to maybe an hour(s?) later with one of the girls on top of me while the other was kissing her. I freaked out and started pushing her off and rolling off the couch which made her fall and knock her friend down with her. My buddy heard the commotion and came knocking on my door and tried to open it. When he found it was locked he started pounding and the girls got dressed, unlocked it and excused themselves, my buddy sort of chuckled at first and wished me good night and I guess I had a look on my face because he stopped and asked if everything was cool. I lost it and just started bawling and drunkenly try to explain what had just happened, he didn't know what to do so he just kinda patted my back and lit me a cig. His girlfriend came in and asked what happened, my friend explained since I couldn't really get words out and she just brushed it off saying I didn't appreciate how lucky I had gotten. My friend stayed with me until I passed out again. Never felt so sick in my life.

The next party they threw both those girls showed up asking about me and saying they wanted to chill with me, my buddy threw them both out of the house and said if they ever came back there wouldn't be a warning. Never saw them again, still hate his girlfriend(now ex) to this day for saying I was lucky. My girlfriend at the time also noticed that I acted differently in bed and when I tried to tell her what happened she just screamed at me for cheating on her and all her friends started calling me a douchebag, dickhead, etc. to my face in public.

Stephanie and Lisa if you're reading this I hope you walk into a gasoline plant and it catches on fire." Fuck you both.

Some of these are cut short just for the sake of space. Sorry.

My testimony

I used to work with a bunch of women in retail. At one point I worked at this fish joint that was a family owned business. Not a whole lot of guys there and especially not a whole lot of people over 40yo. A lot of the girls were either college aged or in high school. In my adolescent years I was mainly being groped by dudes. However, in college it completely flipped. I only had one older gentleman do it and 6 women. The age of the women ranged from 17yo all the way to my dad's age. Fun fact: the only one who ever bothered to apologized was the 17yo. Imagine that. One of the other girls was actually spoken for so I had to ask her how her bf would feel. She said he would dump her immediately.

The other girl (who looked like an 18yo female Corey Haim) would constantly play with my shit like bongos. The other girls would just laugh. The girl with the bf (we'll call her Steph) when I first met her accidently touched my ass. I brushed it off. Happens to the best of us otherwise my grandma needs to get metoo'd. Haha. Anyways, XX Corey Haim somehow ends up talking about my ass to which Steph then says that she accidently touched my ass. XX Corey Haim goes "right cheek or left cheek" to which Steph goes "whichever floats your boat" or something like that. Lil Corey Haim was a white girl who apparently had a fetish for black guys. I remember reading Invincible after it all happened and the panel where Robot rebukes Monster girl for making Bulletproof uncomfortable was just a bit too close to home. She was very young looking even though she was 18 (she looked no older than 12yo). It felt like I was getting groped by a middle schooler. I also heard that she allegedly lied on a guy about rape.

One of the Hispanic girls did it once too and another one simply spoke about how much she wanted to "grab it." Come to think of it, another girl even asked if she could grab it. I told her that was weird and asked how she'd feel if I asked her that. Her response? "I don't mind." Yeah, that didn't work. The worst one was the Hispanic woman who was closer to my dad's age. She's a small woman and sometimes I would bump into her at points. Sometimes I hurt her kinda bad (stepped on her toes; bumper her forehead, elbowed her in the face, etc.). I was almost a whole ruler taller than her (at the time I was 5'10 exactly). At certain points I would end up brushing my hand on her ass by accident. They worked me like a Hebrew slave so you can connect the dots as to why she ended up as my personal crash test dummy. Anyways, she would turn around and get mad and I would apologize and let her know it was an accident. I feel like there was a part of her that knew this. So when she grabbed my butt and tried to say I was guilty of it myself, I thought that was bullshit. She then said this word for word, "it's okay because it do it to my son all the time." Her son was a year older than me. I was 24yo (now 30). She knew she wasn't right. Also weird how you're half way to the grave and you're still playing grab ass with your son...and he's a grown as man.

I've also had a woman try and coerce me into sex. I suspected that she was in a relationship already and told her that I wasn't going to fuck her.

Her: lol. You seem to have your heart set on that

But you clearly don’t know, and I’m not going to tell you. :) because I don’t feel I need to live my life according to your impositions. :) so you’ll never know if I’m single, or with someone, or married, or cheating or not.

Me: Look, you’re a very good fuck but I can’t. I’m sorry.

Her: You will never know. :) you already fucked me, didn’t you?

Don’t be sorry. Just think about how you’re trying to impose your rules on me. :) and don’t pretend that you have any right to impose anything on me.

You can only control if you cheat. :) and you cannot control anyone else.

She went on and on about how she "only asked once," how I "turned this into a very unsexy conversation" and how I'm "imposing my values on a stranger" yada yada. Then she blocked me. I wonder how many other guys fell for her coercive bullshit. I remember her saying not to "leave any marks on her" I kind of took that as odd but brushed it off until I put two and two together.

The bottom line it this. There are women like this all around us. Feminists love to say "you know someone who has raped" but I guarantee you that female preds don't cross their mind when they say this. You can make the case that women do it less. Sure, go ahead. However, this doesn't mean that you just automatically trust women on the basis of them being women. Unless all women are incapable of harm then you shouldn't be trusting a woman you don't know. That doesn't sound very "feminist." Rarity has never stopped a leftist from worrying about a phenomenon anyway but it seems that it stops here. If men are trash then what does that make women? Recyclables? This post is just a reminder that the "women are the protectors" statements are not as true as they think it is. You know what's funny about the pic above? This guys says that a drunk guy would be taken care of (given water, cleaned up, etc.), right? The catch is that in the very last story, the women did all that...and still raped him. Go figure.

The Drama and selective empathy (SPOILERS: I highly recommend watching first)

For those of you who have seen the film and also frequent this sub, I think you likely know where this is going. The post is only for those who have seen the film. So, if you haven't watched it, I suggest you go view it first. I actually quite enjoyed this one.

The Pros

I want to start things off about what surprised me about the film. That is the confession that causes "the drama" itself. Zendaya's character "Emma" is very early on coerced into confessing her darkest sin. In the trailer I thought it was going to be something that seems bad but in full context isn't as bad as it seems. Something like killing your abuser will he's choking you out or even beating a pedophile who raped a loved one. Idk. Something that can be used to make the person doing the harm seem less devilish. I was surprised to find out that the film makers decided to make the character "Emma" a person who attempted a school shooting. This threw me for a loop and actually demonstrated to me that this film had at least some sort of guts.

There's a scene in the film where a shooting actually takes place outside of the school and one of the teachers decides to have a class discussion about school safety. A female hs student mentions that school shootings are a "male rooted problem" to which Emma (as a hs student) is visibly unnerved. She points out that there are other women who actually have committed shootings. This later turns into a rant that the film doesn't exactly go into. Wasn't expecting that at all. Even when I found out about what her confession was, I thought it was still going to be a bit subdued. Like she was only going to shoot her bullies or something. Kind of like the film "The Dirties" which is another one I recommend too. They didn't do that either. They fully have her character subscribe to the idea of killing in general. This also impressed me.

The Double Standard

For me there are no cons for this movie (at least for now). My only cons are for the people who watched the film. For every film that portrays a male and female character that are both flawed, there are going to be people who pick and choose. We've seen it in films like Midsommar, Wandavision and Gone girl. You even have YouTube feminist adjacent channels like "The Take" who publish clips like this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ok7YyNnmpMo It's nothing new then and it's nothing new here. In the end of the film Emma actually ends up getting back with Charlie even after seeing all his past actions. Some people think that she is actually too good for him. However, I think this is just yet another example of people (not all people) catering to women on the basis of her being a woman**.** This isn't to say that people won't actually be biased towards Charlie because he's a man. We know this already. We have plenty of videos about the hatred of Skylar White, Diane Nguyen, etc. I'm here to talk about all the problematic things these people missed about the character of Emma based of their undiagnosed misandry. I'm going to exclude the planning of the school shooting just to make it more fair.

Emma's sins

  1. Lying about how she became deaf in one ear. This one I actually don't care about since it makes sense. It's not like she'll just confess why she's deaf on a first date. However, if this had been Charlie, I don't think the people saying he doesn't deserve her would be so gracious. Flip the spouses https://youtu.be/bcCiHX5_634?t=65
  2. Starting a fight in the middle of the street. Tbf, the car almost hit her but the way she escalated it could've gotten them both killed. Flip the spouses. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ON399__pt-0
  3. Emma is far too rough in bed with Charlie and slaps him multiple times. He clearly doesn't enjoy it. This honestly would've been a deal breaker for me but only if she did it again (which it looks like she did here). Flip the spouses. (NSFW) https://www.aznude.com/view/movie/t/thedrama.html
  4. The scene where Charlie is becoming paranoid is actually what I consider to be one of the other turning points for how flawed her character his. Charlie is having intrusive thoughts about his fiancé being murderous and is scared to the point where he trashes a mug that says "coffee or I'll shoot' mug. Emma finds this while she's making a smoothie and confronts him in his room. She comes up unnoticed and actually startles him. She asks if he thought she was going to hurt him to which he denies it. Emma is offended by this...and lunges forward pretending to stab him. This obviously startles him again. Flip the spouses. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/qI16l_0cCtw

I'm not going to post Charlie's wrongdoing since they're pretty obvious to point out. With Emma, it seems since she is a woman it's a way easier to miss all the borderline abusive and abusive things she's done to her fiancé. The film even points out that Emma is very confrontational which clearly makes Charlie uncomfortable. This could explain his spinelessness since he's usually the one trying to calm the scenario because of Emma's temper. This isn't to excuse his behavior. Quite the contrary. It actually kind of reminded me of my parents. My dad is a nearly 6ft tall 268lbs, muscular black man and my mom is a 5'3ft 190lbs black woman. My mom absolutely has more bark than my dad but that's for good reason. He's been harassed by the cops the most. I'd actually say that Rachel is probably more close to my mom actually. She worked in CPS (Chicago Public School) and called the cops on a kid that shoved her. That kid has a record now. However, my mom has done far worse. If I wanted, my mom would also have a record as well. To make a long story short, if I had treated my mom the way she's treated me in the past, I would be banished from the house (probably her side of the family too). Idk. This movie just hit a little close to home. In the end, while Charlie admits that he "doesn't deserve her", I think the ending tells us that isn't the case. Either way, I can guarantee you that a lot of the people who side with Emma fully consider themselves to be "feminists." Go figure.

Also, even though Charlie did randomly try to have sex with Misha (which he could understandably get in serious trouble for), Misha later making it seem like it wasn’t mutual was pretty evil of her too. I mean…she legit hikes up her skirt just ready to take him right at work. It’s one of those scenarios where a person doesn’t ask for consent before intimacy and simply gets lucky because the person on the receiving end reciprocated. Still a very risky and shitty thing to do but I was surprised that this film included this as well. (NSFW) https://www.aznude.com/azncdn/bd2b63644dad419a936af864a70c3b29/bd2b63644dad419a936af864a70c3b29-hd.html

Intactivism

I'm going to pivot here a bit so buckle up. This one might make some people uncomfortable so if you get uneasy, just take a break. The film here makes the point that everyone is flawed and has skeletons in their closet. Some people have a single vertebrae while others have Dinosaur bones. It all depends on the person. What I find interesting is that this concept is lost on people when we speak about MGM (male genital cutting).

Just think about this for a moment. A mom is encountered by inactivists about the inhumane nature of cutting baby boys. She is later educated and becomes remorseful to the point where her mental health is plummeting. She then sobers up and becomes an intactivist. Now flip the genders. Do you think people are going to have the same reaction to a dad guilty of doing this to his daughter? Maybe, but it certainly won't be as consistent.

The Relevance

So why the hell am I bringing up intactivism on a post about the film "The Drama?" Let's analyze this. If about half of the AMAB in the states have been cut and feminists say that it is indeed "barbaric" then that means that a lot of our parents are guilty of this wrong doing. Some of the people who are the same age as you likely had their son cut as well. The list seems almost endless. If baby boy mutilation became illegal then that's a skeleton that a lot of parents are not going to be able to suppress like our character "Emma" here. It'll be clear to see based off the scar on your penis alone. You'll know by then what happened. Characters like Rachel won't be able to sit on their high horse anymore because those people will likely be guilty too.

Just think for a moment. You'll no longer hear people complain about others saying "but they were a product of their time" because what was done to us who were cut are also a product of our time. Moms and dads will be forced to sit down and talk about what happened. Their idea of what a "good" and "bad" person will also shift because it includes their involvement now. Films like this are interesting to me because I guarantee you people are going to shut their mouths about "the worst thing they've ever done" when MGM is considered a human rights violation. Again, so many of us know someone who has done it to a baby boy and they just see it like scrapping an elbow. Emma's character in the film later is rehabilitated from her ideology through school interference. She later becomes a big anti-gun activist. We've seen some of this when it comes to intactivism. The issue is that much like Emma, it's only the ones who care that will change.

That's all. That's the post. Lemme know if I missed anything.

Man vs. Bear: an analysis

I’m on vacation right now so excuse me if this feels rushed but I wanted to touch on a few things when it comes to the man vs. bear trend a couple years back. Some of the advocates here are going to groan and say “why are we talking about this” while the feminist guest might do the same and ignore this post altogether. Just hear me out on this one because there’s a lot of things about this topic that even you guys missed. I’ll try my best to exclude the points already made which include things like proximity of the bears (bears being blocked from civilization) for example. There are other points to make that lead me to believe this trend was just a poor attempt at talking about women’s safety. Here are some of those points that I think the feminists miss when they speak about this trend (some of these points are also made by OTHER FEMINISTS as well). I’m gonna try my best to say new things here.

1.) It starts in the house

There was a feminist I had seen online make a YouTube clip of her own issues with the “man vs. bear” trend. I wish I could link it but I unfortunately don’t have it saved. The clip itself didn’t have many views so it’ll be hard to find it again. Anyways, in her video she stated how the trend seems to blatantly forget the very statistic that other feminists pushed when speaking about female victimization. The fact that a lot of victims knew their assailants. The fact that you’re more likely be attacked by your spouse than by a random goon two seconds always from seeing the bat signal and fleeing the scene. We make memes about dads using fists and moms flinging sandals but seem to forget that the assailant likely already lives in the next room.

However, since that doesn’t exactly fit the narrative, it’s openly forgotten for the sake of clout. Here’s a (not-so-fun) fact: you’re chances of being killed by a family member increase greatly when you win the lotto.

2.) Lack of research

Do yourself a favor and take note every time someone mentions a bear that was in presence of a human and did nothing. It’s likely going to be a black bear. Black bears are the only bear species where you can actually scare them off when you’re by yourself. Any other bear and you’re fucked. Another thing to note is to not run when your see one since that can potentially trigger their predatory instincts. For example: take clips like this and compare them to clips like this. One clip involves a woman actually running but the creepy guy seems to keep his distance. The other clip literally tells you not to run when dealing with certain types of bears. In a self defense course, the responsible advice is to tell the students not to fight but run. A park ranger will tell you to do the opposite since these things on average have the speed of an NFL linebacker on gear. You’re not outrunning them and climbing a tree is the worst thing you can do. Please don’t do it. I’m not saying what these women go through isn’t scary but…you get the idea.

You’re also not supposed to feed the bears either or the park rangers will have to get involved. It typically doesn’t end well for the bear. I’m sure you have the brain power to guess why. I saw too many women (yes, specifically women) talking about how they aren’t scared and actually feed the bears all the time. Here’s the thing though, we already tell people not to feed the squirrels, ducks, monkeys, etc., and they are feeding bears. Make it make sense.

3.) Self defense

If it’s black, fight back. If it’s brown, lie down. If it’s white, say good night. That’s the self defense advice you’re dealing with here when it comes to bears. With humans (in this case men) what’s the first thing we tell children when dealing with a kidnapper? Bite. There was one story of a woman who was attacked that ended up biting into the guy so hard that he bled out and died. Unless you’re a Baki Hamna character, you’re never doing that to a bear. We even tell people to hit a guy in the groin to fend off the attacker. That’s not happening with a bear.

You see when it comes to other men, I still have a fighting chance. Yes, this does include when they are armed too. Even old veterans have successfully taken down robbers in the last. There’s numerous stories like these. If my sister gets attacked by a man, we have self defense courses for that. We don’t have courses akin to those for bears.

4.) The fork in the road

Let’s say in this hypothetical there’s two trails. One has a bear and the other has a man. In a real life scenario the woman is going to go to the trail with the man and simply not make eye contact. If she has working brain cells and a conscience, she’d warn the man about the bear next door. I ride my bike on trails and see it all the time. Again, something doesn’t smell right here.

Let’s go intersectional. As a black man from Chicago, I’ve heard all types of horror stories. I’ve had a roommate who was jumped on Cottage Grove, another who lived in D.C. and witnessed multiple shootings, and another who knew a Librarian who had been murdered. I myself have tried to defend myself at 5yo and got beat up, seen a man who had been shot when I was 7yo; a man being chased by a car at 15yo, almost mugged at 19yo, threatened by a coworker and my mom at 20yo, ran into a (possibly racist) cop, witnessed a a woman being harassed on the Red Line and was the only one besides another woman who tried to intervene as well as seeing two younger women threaten a man for his cig and prescription meds (he apparently had just left the state correctional center). I’ve been slammed against a fence; punched in the stomach, uppercutted, put in a chokehold, threatened with a baseball bat, slapped, the works. I’ve seen a lot. I wasn’t even a bad kid either (not past preschool at least).

So what’s the point? My point is that there are people who actually live in the hood who have seen worse. This whole “bear” idea doesn’t apply in the ghetto. People who live in areas with a high crime rate are not going to react to a bear the same way they would to another melanated person. I hate to get all racial with you guys but it has to be said. Remember that clip of those white people feeding that black bear at the picnic table I showed earlier? Yeah…black and brown people are not doing that. White people are waaaay too comfortable around animals and it shows. Hence why so many of them get attacked by them in the first place. One older gentleman was literally just attacked by a moose because some other guy startled it. Then you have the white women who say “if it was a bear, I’d feel more comfortable.” Of course you would. Was there ever any doubt?

Another thing to point out is that a lot of white feminists (regardless of gender) had something to add when it came to the man vs bear trend. I didn’t see a whole lot of black people but they were indeed there. It actually makes even less sense with us black people since we like to make fun of white people who are too comfortable with the wild life. None of this is computing here. A black woman runs into a bear she’s running away and posting a story about it online. A black woman runs into another black man she’s simply not giving him any attention. No story to put online there and yet certain leftist black folk are acting like this fictional scenario would work the way they see it just to fit this ignorant feminists narrative. I don’t think they realize how much white feminism is influencing their input on these topics but it sounds feminist enough to them I guess.

5.) The Good Samaritan

Numerous dudes decided to make a bunch of memes online depicting a woman being mauled by a bear and the men doing nothing to help. One of these memes was rebuked by a woman in this picture below. But wait a second, I thought men were too dangerous? So why does it matter what a man thinks? He’s dangerous. Why would you expect a man to help if he is more likely to kill you? Just make a bear whistle or something and ask another bear to help. Okay, I’m being an ass now but you get the idea. How is it that when the topic of the bear comes up, men are to be feared but when a woman is being harassed, men ain’t shit for not interfering? Again, something doesn’t gel here.

You can’t have your cake and eat it too. Pick one for crying out loud. If men are dangerous then expecting them to help you in a dire situation let alone ask you out is risky business is it not? Don’t expect this from them if that’s the case. If these people were consistent then they’d hold their ground and double down on it. At least it runs with the logic. Now all of a sudden they are confirming how dangerous they are for leaving you alone in a hypothetical meme. This makes no sense. If you’ve already forgotten what I’ve mentioned about my past earlier, I’ve already stated that I’ve helped women in the past. I don’t agree with this meme but the meme seems to coexist within the confines of the trend. Now all of a sudden it doesn’t. Don’t expect a potentially dangerous species to help you if this is to be taken seriously.

6.) Rape Victims

**“**Men don’t know there are fates worse than death.” We’ve all heard about this but this is actually what solidified my understanding of the trend. The trend is about reliving trauma. These women would rather get eaten alive than to be violated again. In that case, I can sort of understand what they’re going for here. There are indeed certain things I’d rather die over than to witness or experience. I get that. Even the film Obsession kind of delves into this idea of choosing to die over constant torture.

However there are two issues here. The first being that they’ve obviously never been mauled by a bear. There’s a line in the film Tenet that I try to remember everyday.

“We all believe we’d run into the burning building, but until we feel that heat, we can never know.”

They (hopefully) will never know. Again, there’s a reason we keep clear of these animals. It’s for safety. No other reason than that.

The other issue is actually why I made this post to begin with. What does this say about women who want to endure life after being victimized. Imagine for a moment a woman who is trying to have a normal life and all over the internet feminists of all sorts are saying they’d rather die than to be raped again. I don’t know. Maybe I’m being abhorrently obtuse but this feels…off to me. It reminds me of that episode of the Boondocks where this character Luna kills herself after her friend said if she were in her shoes, she’d…well…kill herself. Again, idk. All of this feels weird if you ask me.

At the end of the day, if this wasn’t to be taken literally…then why was it used as a serious talking point in the first place? What do you think?

MGM (male genital mutilation): "a VeRy DiFfErEnT iSsUe."

There's something that I've recently just thought about when it comes to how feminists view baby boy circumcision. We've all heard the framing of how MGM and FGM are both "very different issues" and that comparing the two are a complete no-no in feminist spaces. Feminists like to claim that since the penis is not outright removed, that makes the issue far too different to compare in any way, shape, or form. To quote one feminist online,

"The parallel of FGM in men is to remove the gland and sew the shaft to the scrotum. That has never happened to men."

The issue is that this is only one out of four different procedures. Here's a list.

  1. partial or complete removal of the clitoris and/or prepuce
  2. removal the clitoris and labia minor
  3. sewing shut of the vaginal hole
  4. pricking, piercing and even burning of the genitals in general (usually with...acid)

But here's what they either don't tell you or aren't aware of...both girls and boys share a procedure here. Let me explain.

Both men and women have what's called a "prepuce." With men it's more specifically called our "foreskin" and with women it is called their "clitoral hood." I'm sure some of the people reading have also heard other people use "hoodie" as a euphemism for the male foreskin as well. In both procedures the prepuce is removed from the body in an act of either religious practice or simple cultural peer pressure. What feminists so blatantly misunderstand is that the things done to the young boys are not much different in both reasoning, practice and in trauma. People who have argued against intactivism have stated their concern for the religious aspect of the procedure. Never mind the fact that religion was also an excuse used to protect the practice of FGM as well. There's also the act of conformity where the parents are only doing it to conform to the norms already solidified in their region. The last is the trauma that's induced during the act. Soraya Mire (a Somalian woman who was a victim of FGM) openly states this, quote,

"His scream was exactly the scream that I heard when that young girl was brought before me. I felt the pain that he's in because I've been there. I was exactly like him so I saw myself in him."

"Young women lose a lot. The genital mutilations affect is a long, long term, mentally physically and emotionally. But we don't know what happens to young boys because they don't want to investigate."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ggqa6CCTR-4

There's a book mentioned by Brendon Marotta (director of the documentary American Circumcision) that compares the act of FGM to MGM. The book is called The Rape of Innocence: Female Genital Mutilation and Circumcision in the USA by Patricia Robinett. I haven't read it read but I'm going to soon.

These are all good examples that I think are good responses to some of these retorts that try to undermine the seriousness of MGM. However, I think the biggest Achilles Heel above them all (imo at least)...is the fact that the same procedure isn't even excluded amongst feminists themselves.

Let me try to explain. Let's say you have a group of female victims involved in a support group. You have women who have been trafficked; raped, coerced, groomed, choked, beat, etc. Then there's that one woman who was simply...groped. Sure, it might not be as graphic as the other experiences in the group. That's abhorrently obvious. However, if this woman were to tell her story do you really think the other abused women would tell her to leave? Doubtful. Are they going to shun her and try to ridicule her for thinking she's on the same level as them? Again, doubtful. How many times are you going to hear the phrase "yeah, but yours isn't even comparable." If anything, I'd say it'd be pretty uncommon to see that in a feminist space. So riddle me this batfamily, if the same procedure (the removal of the female prepuce) isn't excluded from the other forms of female genital abuse...then why isn't the same procedure for baby boys treated that way? Does that make sense? One form of removing the prepuce is treated the same as the other forms of human rights violations but as soon as the subjects are boys, all of a sudden the procedure becomes a "very different issue." Something doesn't smell right here.

I remember once lurking on TwoX (I still like to learn from other women regardless of the rampant misandry) and I came across a post that spoke on women who have been raped and women who have been groped. I can't seem to find it but the general consensus was this,

"just because you were groped and I was raped doesn't mean you don't have a right to talk about it let alone undermine it. We're both in this together."

Paraphrased of course.

Clearly it's not okay to thwart the gravity of victimhood in relation to women, but with men it's fair game. If the removal of the male prepuce (the foreskin) is a "very different issue" then how is the removal of the female prepuce (clitoral hood) still allowed to sit at the table? Something else I just noticed it that they use the most extreme example to amplify their point in order to discredit the severity MGM. However, if they were to use procedure #1 as an example, the cracks would start to show. I don't think cutting of the foreskin is akin to being groped but I think my point is easily digestible. The topic of groping is allowed when mentioning #metoo but when genital mutilation is mentioned, MGM is very quickly banned.

Let's go even further, what happens when a man admits to getting his son cut versus his daughter? Hell, what happens when a woman admits to the same? Obviously I don't have to explain this if you have 1/100th of a brain cell. I'm just gonna go ahead and say it right now. A lot of our parents are guilty of this especially if you live in the states. If this had been our sisters; daughters, mothers, aunts, female friends/co-workers, then the people and parents involved would be seen as monsters. But since it's us men, they aren't. Now don't get it twisted. I'm not saying that the people guilty of this should all rot in hell (not all at least). I think that if you're a person who has analyzed the information on this and has felt such remorse to the point where you want to at least educate yourself, then I think you are on track to becoming a better person. There's a point in the American Circumcision documentary that features a remorseful mother who was involved in her son's botched surgery. It's pretty harrowing to see her cry to the point where you can almost feel the lump in her throat yourself. I would never jump down her throat and call her every name in the book just to get some revenge on a person who never hurt me. I don't support that. I think people should be allowed to change for the better. If that makes me a lame pos enabler then so be it. It think looking back there's going to be a lot of things that are going to go the way of the "retard" and be frowned upon. This is one of them. There are people who get mad at others saying "but they were a product of their time" that I think this will affect greatly mainly because they think it somehow stops at them. The truth is that "good people" don't look the same in every generation. I'm not saying that there isn't an argument against it. It's just that the self righteous ones are the ones who I have trouble trusting. Maybe that makes me an asshole, maybe it doesn't. Idk. It's the former Christian in me I guess.

Something that I also find interesting in the Guardian video I linked above is the fact that the main narrator herself states,

"I haven't landed on a particular answer. I knew I wouldn't, right? Because I'm a woman and never gonna be able to say 'well this is how I feel'."

Not to harp on her too much but this wouldn't fly if a male were to say the same thing about FGM. I just think it's interesting how non-inclusive the idea of "silence is violence" is in a lot of feminists spaces. Even the non-hateful feminists are guilty of this too.

Another thing to note; I feel like a man who is circumcised or a woman who isn't are going to say this post is "pathetic" which is very interesting to me. This isn't to say that circumcised men and uncircumcised women shouldn't be allowed to voice their opinions. I'm not one that exclaims "no uterus, no opinion." I just find it interesting that there are male feminists and even conservative men who undermine the issue when talking about this even though the people speaking on it are in their favor. I also find it interesting when women (who a lot are not affected by this) decide what does and doesn't get the screen time it deserves. Idk. Just my dumbass takes I guess. What do you think? Comment below.

Edit: Is clitorus not in the computer database? It keeps saying it's spelled wrong. Lol.

Edit: Thnx, u/purpleblossom for correcting my misspelling of clitoris.

Edit: Thnx, u/Pecuthegreat for mentioning the removal of the labia. I forgot that one as well.

Jet Li's Unleashed Fight to the Death ost

I've been looking though Massive Attack's ost for this film but can't seem to find the track for the beginning part of this clip. It goes all the way until minute 3:04.
