Transcendent
I like how this meme demands the reader acknowledge sink pissing, and then assigns it as transcending one’s roles in society.

Dads, back in May, I started thinking about how the last two summers blew by without really doing anything cool with my kids. I mean, we managed to go camping, and they each got time at a sleep-away camp, but their mother said she felt the same. So, I started a great big spreadsheet with all the options for this summer. It was complicated, because each option had multiple weeks of offerings, and the kids can only be in one place at a time. I think you can see where this is going. I screwed up—and registered for one week of farm camp, but noted it a week later in the spreadsheet. Now, we can’t go, because it starts tomorrow and is 600 miles away. The kids were disappointed, but mentioned that they hadn’t really spent a week in one place all summer, and were glad for a break. We’ve been firing on all cylinders since the last day of school though, so the first half of my plan was spot-on.
I just wanted to confess my sins, and hear a little bit about how your summers have gone so far. Make sure summer break is *a break*, I guess.
