Hey, I'm looking for songs that have a dark and gritty tone to them. The examples below give me the visual of dark seedy bars and people hitting rock bottom and deciding, why not dig deeper? I'm not so worried about the lyrics, it's the vibe I'm after.

I’m looking for music that at some point has that damp? muffled? sound quality that movies often use after an explosion when a character has temporary hearing loss. Tinnitus ringing is cool too! Bonus points if the song builds into it or if it really feels like the build up to an explosion.
I don’t like metal or EDM (sorry!) but instrumental or pretty much all other genres are fair game!
