Walked more than I have in years yesterday and went to bed BUZZING but in a good way?

I’ve been in the worst shape of my life after having my second child and have been trying to be more active but I’ve been letting myself down. I’m lucky to hit 3,000-3,500 steps a day. I know I’m letting my kids down by not being active enough with them. Today I kept moving even when my body didn’t want to. I followed some tips in this sub and made extra trips to do chores instead of doing everything efficiently to skip steps. I took my youngest to the park in the morning and took my oldest to an arcade when he got home from school. I finished my night off with a long walk around the block and finished my night at just over 13,000 steps! I felt almost high(?) when I laid down to go to sleep last night. My legs were tingling and I didn’t feel the usual anxiety or stress I feel when I fell asleep. As an added bonus my kids both slept in until 8 am for the first Saturday in as long as I can remember. It’s almost as if…moving your body is super good for you in so many ways. I’m just frustrated I didn’t push myself to get healthy before now. I definitely feel momentum and want to keep going.
