pain in root canalled tooth, no way to get to a trustworthy dentist for at least a month longer

I had a root canal done on my lower right molar on 3/23 (this year, ie 2 months ago). The tooth had been previously crowned a few years ago, so they did it through the existing crown. Including the before and after x-rays for reference.

Around 1 month later (ie 1 month ago from now), I started getting sensitivity/minor pain in the same tooth:
- Sensitive when eating chewy foods like meat, sticky candy, that sort of thing
- Sensitive when I suck on the tooth, touch the side with my finger, or something touches my cheek where the tooth is on the other side
- Occasional aching in my jaw sometimes
- It has gotten a bit worse in that it’s more frequent throughout the day now, but the pain is bearable
- Hot/cold is NOT an issue, also can eat soft and crunchy things with no issue

I suspect it’s something related to grinding my teeth in my sleep because I notice it’s especially sensitive when I wake up in the mornings and also if I wake up from a nap in the middle of the day. I tried wearing one of those boil mouth guards but it’s only on the top, and it actually made it worse because I think my tooth was hitting the hard part of the guard all night.

I am currently living/working in a country is not really known for great healthcare and my experience with doctors and dentists here has been very negative. The next time I can get to a trustworthy dentist is in about a month (mid-June) when I have a trip out of the country planned.

Will that be okay or is this something I should be concerned about blowing up before that happens? If so, are there antibiotics or pain meds I can self-medicate with in the meantime to make it til then? (Meds are very easy to get over the counter in this country.)

Thank you, any advice is much appreciated as I have a lot of health anxiety which has only gotten worse living in a place where I can’t access quality healthcare.
