Thankfully I saw a post here before my sale went through.

Ordered a truck to be shipped from Carmax. Paid shipping, did loan app, spoke to salesperson on the phone. Their report stated no accidents.

Agent on phone stated no accidents. Saw a post that said run your own carfax - well what do ya know? A significant accident. An accident that impacted the roof and about 80 percent of the perimeter of the truck according to the diagram carfax provided. Listed as “moderate” which means could impact safety of vehicle.

I cancelled my purchase and yes, they refunded the shipping charge- BUT within 24 hours that truck was back up for sale with the same inaccurate history.

RUN YOUR OWN CARFAX. That $50 saved me from a nightmare.
