Major: I am applying to be a Business major for MAYS for Fall 2027.
Status: I am an in-state Texas student applying for my freshman year. I attend The Woodlands College Park High School, a highly competitive public high school that includes the Academy of Science and Technology (AST) I am not in it.
Rank: 251/754 (Top 33%)
GPA: 3.14 UW, 4.14 W
Test Scores: SAT: 1420
Additional Coursework: I have taken/will graduate with 14 AP and Dual Credit courses. I have earned 3s or higher on all AP exams taken. My math coursework includes AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, and Dual Credit Precalculus. Aside from required courses and orchestra, my other classes have generally been Honors, AP, or Dual Credit.
Extracurricular Activities: LEO Club President (student chapter of Lions Clubs International), Rho Kappa National History Honor Society Tech Officer, four years of orchestra with advancement to the second-highest orchestra level, four years of UIL Orchestra participation, and a one-month internship with the New Caney Chamber of Commerce.
Honors/Awards: DECA ICDC International Qualifier, Congressional App Challenge Winner for SEVA, four years of Division I ratings on UIL orchestra solos, and NMSQT qualifier (I do not expect to make National Merit Semifinalist).
Essays: I would personally rate my essays around 80/100. I think they are solid, but not extraordinary.
