hi everyone ! i am going into my second year of enviromental geoscience, and i have “sedimentology and stratigraphy” as well as “intro to mineralogy” coming up in the fall. does anyone have any good textbooks / sites / journals or any material that goes over introductory rock and mineral identification ? i was told that having a good basis makes these classes a lot easier.

should i do 512gb or 1tb ? i have another pc with 1.5 tb that stays at home, as well as a 4 tb external ssd.
