For those that are trained or mastered in software engineering for navigation apps, would you take on this project?
So basically I started Doordashing and I don't have an apple phone but a Google pixel which puts me in the family of android user. What I realized is that I have to always refresh the app whenever I'm confirming pickup and delivery but what was most interesting is that the navigation is not able to load up on my car dashboard.
Then I started thinking that if I had the skills to fix these things, I wonder how much money I could negotiate with Doordash as a result? I find it hard to believe they'd pay less than thousands, it seems like such a valuable mend. Doordash claims to be working on these issues- but wouldn't it have been fixed by now?
I'm not sure if I'll ever pursue software engineering but I'm genuinely curious how would an engineer fix this issue and how much pay would they receive? Would Doordash ever hire a freelancer to solve the issue if they could do it quicker than their team could?
