We met Spencer!!!

Me and my buddies had the esteemed honor to meet Spencer/ Crazy Steve (my fellow Drake and Josh fans)!!! He was so awesome, but after our picture, I was trying to turn around to say bye, and he was much closer than I thought he was, and I caressed his hand with my hand. I think we had a moment. 😂

What's a episode you always skip, or have a hard time getting through on rewatches?

For me it's "iFight Shelby Marx" I don't know why it's just so hard to get through, so on future rewatches I'm just gonna skip it.

Looking back, I understand why Jennette McCurdy struggled during Sam & Cat.

After reading I'm Glad My Mom Died and hearing Jennette McCurdy talk about that period of her life, I have a lot more empathy for what she went through during Sam & Cat.

Jennette has shared that she was already dealing with years of emotional abuse, pressure, and burnout from being a child actor before Sam & Cat even began. Then she found herself working through another difficult chapter of her career while trying to process everything she had experienced growing up.

She has also talked about feeling hurt by differences in opportunities during that time. I can understand why those situations would have been frustrating. If you're already exhausted and burned out, it's easy to feel like you're carrying a heavy load while watching other opportunities happen around you.

At the same time, I think it's important to remember that many of the decisions about scheduling, promotions, and projects were made by the adults running the network and managing the productions—not by the young actors themselves.

What stands out to me most isn't celebrity drama. It's how much pressure Jennette was under and how little control she felt she had over her own life for so many years.

Looking back now, I don't see Sam & Cat the same way I did when it first aired. Knowing what Jennette has shared publicly makes me appreciate her honesty and resilience even more.

Did reading her memoir or listening to her interviews change the way you view Sam & Cat?

Jennette McCurdy deserved so much better, and I don't think enough people talk about how much she went through.

After reading about Jennette McCurdy's life and everything she's shared publicly, I honestly think she deserved so much better.

As a child, she has described growing up with a controlling and abusive mother who pushed her into acting, invaded her privacy, and made many of her decisions for her. In her memoir, I'm Glad My Mom Died, she talks about how those experiences affected her mental health, her relationship with food, and her sense of identity.

Then, even after becoming successful, things didn't suddenly get easier. During Sam & Cat, she has spoken about feeling frustrated by differences in opportunities and how difficult that period of her career was. Whether someone agrees with every detail or not, it's hard to read her story and not feel empathy for what she experienced.

One of the things I admire most is that she eventually chose to step away from acting and tell her own story on her own terms. That couldn't have been easy.

I also think her memoir has helped a lot of people recognize signs of emotional abuse, control, and the pressure that some child actors experience behind the scenes.

For me, Jennette's story isn't just about Nickelodeon. It's about resilience and finally finding your own voice after years of feeling like other people controlled your life.

What are your thoughts? Did reading her memoir or hearing her interviews change the way you viewed her career?

When I first watched the show as a kid, Freddie had his deeper voice. So any episode I heard with him afterward with his higher voice was pretty jarring as a kid. Anyone else have this experience?

My first episode I ever watched was the one where Sam owed Carly and Freddie money, for reference.

Guys I need help with my dream plan.

I wish upon a star to send an email to Gideon. He is my hero and I dream of him everyday. The email says that he shall be the perfect husband for a woman with long blue hair, as my trusty site reclaims to be his soulmate for life. This is no joke. I need his email address or at least of someone named gideon as it has the powerful name of my god. Thank you very much and I’ll put the email that I tried to send here.
“A proposition for the great Gideon.
Dear Gideon, you are like a god for our religion and you bless us with your incredible beauty so l wanted to tell that I think I found your perfect spouse. Using one of my super intellectual sites | was able to find the love of your life. Her name, is Loredana Bertè, I'll send the result and a photo of her down below. I'd love if you could reply to me as I am a big fan of yours, live a good life and thank you for your existence.”

IPie

The funny thing about this episode is that it starts with Spencer, Carly, Sam, and Freddie getting addicted to this city famous pie first thing in the morning. I know people sometimes treat themselves to dessert for breakfast but I've never heard of anybody actually going to a pie shop in the morning and having that be the first experience of the day.

Who was in the right?

In Season 1, Ep 12 of the original show, Carly makes Sam a t-shirt to commemorate their friendship (think it’s five years of knowing each other?). Sam then says she will get Carly concert tickets to her favourite band as a gift in return. Sam then sells the t-shirt in order to pay for the tickets.

They argue, then as they’re making up, it’s revealed that Sam went to the concert and brought someone else with her as she and Carly were still arguing.

Whose side were you on?

At the end Freddie does an iCarly poll where the most votes are that they should just stop fighting period.

This is the first time in like 10 years ive watched the episode. Childhood me was on Carly’s side 100%, but adult me is kinda like well Sam had good intentions… but then the taking someone else to the concert would’ve also set me off if I was Carly so I don’t know 😂 maybe Carly was hoping Sam would just not attend the concert? Idk

I used to see this episode as unnecessarily mean to Freddie, after watching this video, I don’t

The creator of this video is right. He acts like a drama queen who’s way too concerned what other people think of him.

and he causes millions of dollar in property damage with his 3D tech.

Feels like this episode’s main purpose is to show Sam learned something from the Seddie arc and was being nicer to him.

I was wondering what would the iCarly gang's patronuses be? This is what I think

Here's what I think their patronuses would be

I chose animals that best fit their personalities

🔴⭐️Carly's patronus would be a Swan🦢 (elegant, kind, and graceful)

🟡🍗Sam's patronus would be a Honey Badger🦡 (tough, fearless, stubborn, and fiercely loyal)

🔵📹Freddy's patronus would be a Border Collie🐕 (loyal, dependable, protective, and always there for his friends)

🟢🎨Spencer's patronus would be an Otter🦦 (playful, creative, quirky, and fun-loving)

🟠💪Gibby's patronus would be a Bear🐻 (big-hearted, lovable, surprisingly strong, and often gentle despite his larger-than-life personality)

But what do you think? What would you pick?

It’s insane how big icarly’s viewerships numbers were

It has two episodes in the top three I saved your life and Iquit Icarly both premiered with bigger numbers than any SpongeBob episode any fairly odd parents episode and any Drake and Josh episode the show was legit doing Hannah Montana numbers at its prime.

In the past, did you want Freddie to choose to be with Carly, Sam, or someone else? Also, what is your opinion on the topic today?

I think that I would say that I wanted Freddie to choose to be with Carly. I know that Carly has had her moments when she didn’t stand up for Freddie, but Carly and Freddie had a good or at least decent friendship. And Sam was always mean and abusive towards Freddie until they started dating. Therefore, I would say that I wanted Freddie to choose to be with Carly and that I still think that way today.
