Got off work early today and stopped by a local resale shop. I was flipping through stacks of the usual garbage and about crapped myself when I got to Bridge Of Sighs. I paid $6 for each and felt like I stole it. In college in the 90s me & my roommates would get high & listen to Bridge of Sighs soooo much.
Some of my recent acquisitions. The Kinks- Arthur (Or The Decline & Fall Of The British Empire), Roger McGuinn- Self Titled, INXS- Kick, & Ween- White Pepper. I had been on the hunt for this Kinks album for a while. It's as good, if not better, than anything the Beatles put out. Such a criminally underrated band in the US.
Made a vegetarian meal last night on the Egg. Miso-soy glazed tofu & grilled vegetables.
May 9th is National Cookout Day. I did a cooking demo at work today using the BGE XL. Made some smoked baby back ribs to give out samples.
