Just to set the scene: I’m Brazilian and work with Brazilian platforms, so I’m not very familiar with the laws in other countries.
I’ve been using the search function a lot to avoid repetitive posts, but something caught my eye: refunds. Does OnlyFans really refund subscribers without any valid reason?
Here in Brazil, I use a platform where I charge for a subscription and provide mild content, while keeping more explicit content locked behind a specific fee (much higher than the subscription price). People complain a lot—Brazilians can be difficult, and AI has taken over our market, driving prices down—but we don't have this refund issue. Does the OnlyFans refund policy apply to subscriptions too, or just PPV? Is Fansly the same way? I’m a beginner and don’t show my face, so my content is quite amateur, but it still takes effort; I don’t want to hand over my content only to get screwed over by a guy who buys it in the heat of the moment and then regrets it. How do you protect yourselves against this?
