Should I be concerned?
Newish seller here, a bit worried that someone might be attempting to scam me! A buyer purchased some rather expensive, new and unused/unopened Ralph Lauren bed sheets on the 11th… great! It was delivered on the 15th… great! Today, the 18th, I receive this message from the buyer.
“I am mailing this back to you. When I looked at your posting it said returns accepted. All of a sudden it changed. I am mailing this back with my own postage. You should check your postings because I would never purchase without the returns accepted. Thank you.”
My gut is telling me something isn’t right. First of all, sorry you didn’t check my return policy. I personally don’t feel comfortable accepting a return on bedding materials so I made that my policy. Anyways, I advised them that eBay itself has a return policy that would override mine anyways and I would they prefer they go that route rather than sending it to me directly. Secondly, they’ve yet to give me a reason for wanting a refund. Their last message after I asked why they are returning was “It said seller accepted returns
Sent from my iPhone”
They have a 100% rating from many folks which is throwing me off. If the item is in the exact condition I sent it in I do plan on refunding just to shut them up and blocking them. Do you think they’re up to no good? I’m considering refusing the package and having it sent back so they can go the legitimate route, through eBay. I’m trying to cover all of my bases here! Thanks yall
