Need urgent advice regarding a possible honeytrap/extortion scam

A friend and I contacted a number from an online adult service listing site. Initially there was only chat and discussion, but later without proper confirmation a girl arrived late at night at our location. When my friend met her near the car just to verify if the situation was genuine, things suddenly became very suspicious.
She started emotionally pressuring and threatening him, creating fear of false allegations and public drama. My friend got stuck in the car with her for around an hour. We have full dashcam audio/video recording of the interaction. Due to panic and fear, money was handed over in cash (around 17k total).
Now we are extremely stressed and worried:
- Can these scammers continue blackmailing later?
- Should we file a cyber complaint or FIR?
- Has anyone in Lucknow faced similar scams recently?
- Any trusted legal advice or safe next steps?
We have:
- Dashcam recording
- Chat screenshots
- Call logs
- Payment/ATM timeline
Please only serious/legal suggestions. We already know contacting such services was a mistake, so mainly looking for guidance on staying safe and handling this properly.
