Ai models for 3d printing and print monitoring
I have been dabbling with ai for the better part of two years or shall I say two months before agentzero was released I wanted to integrate my ollama models into 3d printing from taking a descriptive prompt creating a image then slicing that image into an stl and finally monitoring print through web cam I’m using a Creality cr-30 with sonic pad that runs klipper I have had minor success with Openclaw, Hermes agent did good with a test cube print but I’m having issues with the geometry of how the ai agent would sometimes create models that overlap and if it is more then two models sometimes the output would merge models and save stl as one file, isn’t flat to the print bed (floating mid-air). For starters I’m aware that the cr-30 is not really a beginners type of printer I’ve seen the potential and know that it can be done I’m sort of at a little bit of mental frustration with this so I figured I’d bring this to Reddit and see if anyone succeeded where I failed.
