Bed placement for master bedroom (Vastu vs Aesthetics)
We’re designing our master bedroom and got stuck because of a mix of aesthetics vs vastu.
We personally don’t believe in vastu much, but our parents do, so trying to find a middle ground.
Room details:
For the west wall
Left side of the window will have full-height wardrobes
Bay window seating below the window
For the south wall
TV console + dresser & chest of drawers on the south wall for some extra storage
East wall intentionally left mostly empty so the room feels spacious and uncluttered
Which leaves us with only one practical place for the bed:
→ North wall
But apparently sleeping with head towards north is considered bad in vastu.
We really don’t want to compromise the room layout because this setup feels the most balanced and luxurious aesthetically.
I’ve read online that some people use “remedies” like:
copper wire/strip under the bed
copper pyramid
crystals, etc.
Does any of this actually help in terms of vastu “cancellation” or is it all placebo?
Would love opinions from:
people who ignored this and were fine
people who found practical vastu workarounds
interior designers who dealt with similar layouts
Attaching the floor plan for context.
