Should i add straps?

I don’t think i usually look good in a strapless dress but I loved the lace on this one and gave it a try. I thought it looked great in person but when looking back on photos, Im not sure if i look too ‘squishy’ up top. I typically go for straps that hide my insecurities. Should I add straps? Would that ruin the whole look? Stay with strapless?

I was also thinking of adding some more fabric to the deep v to make it semi sheer instead of totally see through. Not sure if that would look nice?

This or that?

I’m trying to decide between these two dresses!

The first one is from a sample sale from a local designer. I love that it’s locally designed- the top is very flattering and the fiancé loves the beaded strap and off the shoulder detailing. I don’t love the back but don’t hate it either.

The second one is a second hand dress that i found. It has a lovely train and back that i like more but there’s less detailing in general. It’s half the price of the other which is tempting. Do i like the other one so much more that it’s worth double?

I’m torn as to which to choose! I like both, which one should i choose?

The second one is a second hand dress that i found- so it’s not me in the photo but i should be the same size. It has a lovely train and back that i like more but there’s less detailing in general. It’s half the price of the other! Is the first one worth double the price?
