Stolen Ids
Hi, I just moved from Alberta to Ontario recently and had my car broken into a couple days ago, unfortunately it was one of those times when I forgot my wallet containing my bankcards and ALBERTA driver’s license/health card in the arm rest. I have already taken the precautions mentioned in other posts/internet which is reporting the cards as stolen, reporting to local police(Toronto) and putting fraud alerts with transunion/equifax. So far, the only transaction I had on my account was from a fast food place before I locked all cards so hopefully it stays that way.
So my questions are, is there anything else I could do to avoid identity fraud and I am already in the process of changing my Ids to Ontario so do I still need to report this to anyone else in Ontario/Alberta? Thank you.
