Painted some battletech minis. The theme is based on the song red right hand from the bad seeds. Decided to use nothing but craft paint and homemade washes for them. Turned out pretty decent. Pleasantly surprised at how well the folk art metallics worked. Any C&C appreciated.
Finished up my first lance. Ended up going with a Caesar. Not because of any reason other than I got a blind box to finish the lance. Now gotta figure out how the game works.

Does it read okay or is it too messy? Does anyone get what I am trying to reference with the scheme? Probably need to hit it with a matt varnish but wanted to wait in case I need to strip it. Any feedback back appreciated.
