Corsair RM1000X - Failed unit within 1 year - Corsair support

Has anyone else had an awful experience with Corsair RMA?

I recently had to RMA my PSU and paid for an advanced RMA so I wouldn’t be left without a unit. Corsair ended up sending me what appears to be a used/refurbished replacement, which is pretty frustrating considering the price of these products and the extra hassle.

On top of that, trying to reach actual customer support has been brutal. Every time I try contacting them, I just get stuck dealing with AI chatbots or automated responses, and it feels nearly impossible to speak to a real person.

For a company with Corsair’s reputation, this process has been disappointing. Has anyone found an actual phone number, email, or method to get through to a human? Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated.

I’ve already reached out to Kraken support about this, posted in r/KrakenSupport, and also contacted them through social media.

On April 11th, support replied:

“Thank you for following up with us, we'll double-check with the team what can be done here, we will be back as soon as we have an update.”

Since then, I haven’t received any further response.

The issue is related to Kraken’s referral program.

My friend sent me a referral, and at the time the official page stated:

“You and your friend will both receive $100.”

No “up to,” no mention of variable rewards.

So I signed up, deposited around $200, and completed the required trading volume.

After that, I received:

$20.

I reached out to them and explained how this was not the best wording.

They gave me this reply

"The bonus can be up to $100 CAD, it doesn't mean it will always be $100.Yes, the bigger the deposit, the higher your bonus will be. the team will make the necessary corrections to the support article to clarify the bonus.

I asked them to honor the original amount (the missing 80$ for my friend and myself and they said they would keep me posted. They offered Kraken+ but my friend already had Kraken+.

Has anyone had Kraken support go silent after an initial escalation despite reaching out multiple times, or do they usually follow through with updates?
