Granted it was only for 30 seconds or so but is this normal? We have 12x 535w panels with a specified output of 6.42kwp also the inverter is only a 6kw inverter.
I’ve seen that the battery has been at 95% + for 90 or so minutes with a constant 1kW charge input. I presume it works like an EV where the last 10-20% can take ages to charge. Is it worth lowering the SoC max limit to 80/90% and then exporting more to the grid?
I’m having a 6kW inverter and 2 5kW batteries installed once I get the G99 back. I have an idea to box them in as I want to get the wife’s approval 😅
Has anyone done this before? My plan was to have two sections, an insulated section for the battery and a vented section for the inverter. I’ve used AI to generate an example of what I was planning.

I was originally looking for solar and a 10kW battery I’ve been quoted 9.4k for a fix 11kW and 9.9k for a sig 9kW battery (both with 18 panels)
I was leaning more towards the sig for the extra battery cycles but is it worth the extra 1.3k for get the second battery?
