Just Experienced a New Version of Shrinkflation Today

Just experienced this for the first time today, but I'm sure others have ran into this before.

My wife and I have been using this same dietary supplement (in powder form) for years, and have been really happy with the product. When I went to get a new jug of the stuff today, I found it's been "new and improved!", so I turned the container around to have a look at the nutrition label, and everything looked exactly the same. I also confirmed that the container was still 25 oz. I was confused for a second, until I noticed the serving size...

What used to be two tablespoons per serving, it's now THREE. Seriously? So, for the exact same price, the exact same amount of material, and the exact same nutritional load, I now need an extra tablespoon, meaning we're going to burn through this stuff 50% faster?

I put it down and walked out. Guess I have to find a new product now. Assholes. 😠

EDIT: TIL this is skimpflation. Thank you!

Yoplait ships giving less saying the same

They say 113g and used to be filled to the tippy top you can see in the photos (ignore my dirty matcha scale) that it’s a lie now. The last four I’ve gotten have been like this.

Poptarts have tasted like cardboard for years as they removed much of the filling

Now they have the nerve to release “super stuffed”, which taste exactly like poptarts used to, and they only give you 5 in a box now. Even the nutritional amounts almost exactly line up with 1 pastry from 20-30 years ago.

What's something that became more expensive but noticeably worse at the same time?

It feels like a lot of products and services cost more than ever, yet the quality somehow keeps dropping.

What's the biggest example you've personally noticed? Could be food, apps, subscriptions, electronics, clothing-anything.

Yogurt "covered" Raisins: now with more raisin!

Not sure what this fits under but it's pretty clear that there's less yogurt covering the raisins. Can't confirm if there's any price change but my gut says... nah. Purchased two bags; both were light on the yogurt.

Holy Shrinkflation Batman

At Target shopping for a spiral notebook. Last time I checked, regular sized paper in the USA is 8.5 x 11 inches. Well, evidently not anymore…

Still an Aldi fan but I've noticed this with more than a few cans

I understand allowing for some extra water weight that drains off....but ...144g vs 411g labeled (35%)? I know it wasn't always like this. Is this usual now?

I don’t post EVER but this really pissed me off. I’ve been using this brand for a year now but looks like they fell the shrinkflation too. I paid 10$ for both btw

Trader Joe's Paper Grocery Bags

The Trader Joe's paper grocery bags have shrunk. I thought they looked smaller last time I was there.

Ocean spray cranberry juice not good anymore??

I like cranberry juice so much, im literally known for it now. If you know me at all, you know it's my favourite drink of all time. I usually buy the original ocean spray bottles from the dollar store.

The past month or so, however, whenever I buy it, it's just not refreshing. Its very tart, has a slightly sour aftertaste, and leaves a nasty taste in my mouth.

Has anyone else noticed this?? Im not sure if they've watered it down or lowered the sugar or what, but it tastes nasty now.
