Q-Tips - Shrinkflation, literally.

Bought a new box and they felt different. Had a few leftovers from before. Here we go, the new ones are slightly shorter and feel much less „fluffy“ - The only reason I bought those and not the cheap knockoff-brand. Germany btw, bought at a very popular drug store chain.

Do Americans who vacation in their own country get that typical vacation feeling?

The U.S. is huge and has a wide variety of landscapes. I suspect that’s why many Americans vacation within their own country.

As a European, you can sometimes find yourself in a completely different culture, with a different language and food, after just 1–2 hours of travel - simply because the continent is so small.

But does travelling within the US give you that typical vacation feeling too? The one you get from visiting a foreign place or country? Does it actually feel like being away from home?

Unpopular Opinion: The Polestar 2 Is the only beautiful car from Polestar

I’m not saying the other models are ugly - after all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

But to me, the newer models have completely lost their Volvo identity and similarities. You could stick a Kia logo on them and people would believe it.

Gratis Laden? Alpitronic 400kW Lader an der Autobahn

Hallo,

Ich stehe gerade am 400 kW Schnellader. Alpitronic 400 kW eines großen Niederländischen Anbieters.

Versuche vorab in der App zu starten, sehe aber die Säule ist offline. Beim einstecken lädt das Auto trotzdem.

Ist jemanden sowas schon mal passiert? Autocharge ist definitiv bei allen Anbietern deaktiviert, ich habe testweise sogar mal die Online-Säule nebenan angesteckt. Die lädt nicht automatisch sondern will eine Authentifizierung.

ChatGPT sagt mir es gibt wohl manchmal einen „Free Issue“ Fallback Modus.

The car is fun, but I feel like the car could go much faster. Is there a way to raise the limit, i.e 250 km/h?

Does the performance upgrade do that?

Elite 30 V2 - Home Assistant - Authentification / Token loss

Hello,

I am using the Bluetti Home Assistant Integration (V 1.0.0) but the authentification gets lost after 2-3 weeks usually.

Is there a way to keep the login / token active for longer? I tried the BT-Plugin but that does not work for me. I need the UPS Switch because I use the box as miniature solar excess battery.

How to keep the 12V socket active? - Car Freezer / Fridge

Hello,

I am running a 12V compressor freezer box.

But the moment I lock the car the 12V socket goes off. I tried using the climate pre-cooling function in the app, but that does not work.

2022 LRDM EU-Version.

Is there a way to keep the socket active? Can I tap the 12V battery directly? The Freezer Box has a voltage monitor, so it will shut off when battery goes low.

Laden beim Einkaufen - So macht E-Auto fahren Spaß

Der Discounter mit 4 Buchstaben scheint es verstanden zu haben. Mittlerweile fahre ich quasi nur noch dorthin. So geht aktive Kundenbindung. Ich fühl mich beim Aufladen nicht abgezogen und kann nebenbei Pause machen - Ein Schoko Croissant oder meinen kompletten Einkauf.

Als Laternenparker ist das ein wahrer Segen und die Auslastung scheint das zu bestätigen. Die Säulen bei anderen Supermärkten sind nur sporadisch frequentiert oder komplett ungenutzt.

Ich hoffe sie lernen daraus und lassen den Preis so wie er aktuell ist.

40 Tonner vs. 400 kW

Auf einem Autobahnrastplatz entdeckt. Der LKW hat direkt 4 Ladeplätze blockiert, war bei aber kein Problem. Bei den Mondpreisen lädt dort eh keiner, hab selbst nur meine 10€ Guthaben verbraucht.

In Zukunft könnte das aber mehr werden, die Infrastruktur scheint nicht für LKW gebaut zu sein.

Roof Rack / Crossbars + Glass Roof?

Hello,

I wonder if anyone is using a roof rack on a P2 with a **glass roof**.

It seems to be possible, there are small holes avaiable above the doors.

But does anyone have real (negative?) experience?

I have a rooftop tent and sometimes stuff to transport, but I‘m a little concerned this puts stress on the glass just by the load alone.

Blitzer.de PRO - Does it work in the background?

Mostly a question to German users, does the Blitzer.de PRO App give notifications / overlay even when in the background? I.e running Google Maps on screen?

This is the native app that can be found in the car‘s PlayStore.

Reviews are only 3.8/ 5 - Makes me wonder a bit.

Polestar 2 - 2022 LRDM if that matters.
