Hi Everyone not even the month 2 and rats ate my parking sensor wiring harness which apparently cost 1600 + tax to fix. And this is actually the second time this year; the first time it was breaking wires on my old Polestar 2. This time my new Polestar 4.

Do you have any suggestions on how I can repel them. What is the best option you know. It is parked in a parking lot spot in between 2 buildings and since the spots assigned I can’t really change as I wish

I am looking for a mag safe mount (preferably to fix on the vent or screen) for my polestar 2 (2025) in order to put the screen of my baby car monitor (12.7cm screen - Wemoh). It comes with a standard mount that can mounted on the dashboard/windshield but I am not a fan of it. I would like something that can be fixed to the screen or the top vent.

Does anyone has found or is using a mag safe mount that could fit my purpose ?

Couple extra info:

- I do not want a baby car monitor using car play because I never use car play in the car and I’m using the native apps

- I live in Belgium - so it needs to be available in mainland Europe

I got my used P2 LRSM ( early 2023) about 6 months back and I am throughly enjoying the car. There are of course niggles but the positives outweigh the negatives really.

My biggest complaint is the old infotainment and it's not that i have trouble with it, most days I don't care about it as much and I think I started using it after the life saving update where everything was optimised for the older processor anyway. It's just that, when it does lag and slowdown, it reallyyyy slows down and that bothers me.

I checked up and there is an official volvo/polestar workshop in my country that does the snapdragon upgrade but it's not cheap by any measure - approx 1k euros. Wanted to ask yourselves, is it worth it and what your experience has been post upgrade?

I took it to a tire shop and they balanced all the tires. They said the front driver side tire had a high road force spot, so they moved the tire on the rim, but it didn't fix it. It's about the same, maybe a little worse. They also did an alignment check and a couple of numbers were slightly off.

The tires are the original Michelin Primacy All Season 245/45R19 with the Acoustic foam, DOT 2023. I've been reading forums and a few people said the foam inside can come loose and cause this exact thing. Haven't had the tire taken off the rim to check yet. I'm considering taking it into Polestar service while it's still under the bumper-to-bumper warranty to look at that issue but also just check the car overall.

Has anyone dealt with this?

If I were to take it into Polestar, what would that cost to have the shaking issue looked at and also just a general inspection?

Also what exactly is covered under that bumper-to-bumper warranty?

TL:DR: All in all, I love the Polestar!

My wife took our 2025 Ioniq5 on a 3-week roadtrip, so I rented a 2023 Polestar2 to use while she is gone. Location: California. Our 220 home charger works with it perfectly, and I’ll just be going around town, so that’s fine for me.

I love how the Polestar is just “on” once I get in. No noises. No Power button. Even the seatbelt reminder tone is mellow.

The Ioniq5 sequence is so noisy: Tones when you get in. Tones when you start the car. Ugly tones if you start without putting seatbelt on first. Plus you need to tell the Ioniq5 which phone you have — even when you are the only one in the car. ***Please Hyundai engineers, take the Polestar for a spin!***

Just sit down in the Polestar2, buckle up, and shift into reverse.

Plus, our Ioniq5 always beeps because we are too close to the wall in front of us, even though we are in REVERSE!!! Doesn’t happen in the Polestar.

The Polestar is set for one-pedal driving, my preference. On the Ioniq5 you have to turn it on EVERY time you get in the car, so I just don’t bother.

2023 Polestar Apple CarPlay requires you to attach via a USB cable — I assume that’s not true in later models.

One of the nice things about the Ioniq5 is that it is a full height vehicle, so people like me don’t have to worry about hitting their heads getting in.  Not true with the Polestar but I’ve gotten used to it. We appreciate the overall size of the Ioniq5; that's why we bought it.

The remote: Why do companies have so much trouble designing a remote that is functional and stylish? Don’t like either one, but at least the Polestar is a reasonable size.

All in all, I love the Polestar! — it would be a great second car for us — wish they were still available in America! My nearest dealer is 300 miles away, not going to buy used because of that.

Hello, I just got a new P2 a couple of weeks ago and while I didn’t care much about the performance suspension, I ended up getting it because it came in the same package with the B&W upgrade. Now, I’m used to comfort (switched from an E class) so I asked the guys to set the Ohlins at max comfort settings.
The thing is, when I’m on the highway I get this weird rapid bounce to the point you can’t put your head on the headrest because it would be like juggling a ball really close to the ground. So I’m thinking they either didn’t set the Ohlins to comfort, or the car is doing this precisely because the suspension is too soft and acting weird at high speeds. Anyone experienced the same behaviour? It’s driving me nuts.
