Advice for at-fault accident

(WA) Got into an at-fault accident for 2010 Hyundai i30. There is significant damage to the frame but its mechanically great. Panelbeaters quoted 4.1k when the car was insured for 3.6. RAC is wanting it towed but I've been dodging their calls. I went to the coppers for a not-at-fault accident to the same car that i was driving whilst waiting for the panelbeaters' quote and the copper suggested I should buy it back and fix it myself. Im leaning more towards this option (that I wasnt given by RAC) because I rly need the car. Transperth is completely unreliable and sucks big time. I work freelance and got fired from one client because i was constantly late taking public transport.

My car is un-regoed so I'll have to include all these costs into it if I were to take it to a different panelbeater. Would it be worth the costs or should I take the payout? Looking for advice because I'm totally clueless here.

TIA :))
