14 month bedtime hell!
Hi All,
For the past few weeks our 14 month has suddenly started refusing bed time. Nothing has changed in terms of our routine but bedtime is now officially hell.
When we lay him down in his cot he protests so much to the point he literally screams the house down, stands up crying, holds his breathe to let our deep screams and has also made himself physically sick and vomit in his cot a few times. Bed time is around 7pm but we have also tried bringing it forward to 6.30pm. This did not help.
We initially tried the Ferber method around 10 months which really helped and have been trying to apply it here again with no success. Our LO is also waking up every hour once he finally settles himself up until around 10/11pm and then settles till around 5am but sometimes wakes during that period also.
As we are on 5am wake ups at the minute, he refuses to go down anymore so that's us up for the day.
At the moment our schedule is now 4/4/4.5. We have also tried 3/3/4 with the same outcome.
1st nap is around 1hour and the second nap is 30min - 45min max
Any help would be much appreciated as me and my wife are both physically and mentally exhausted from this
