What should our mission statement be for the remainder of 2026?

Given all of our growth I think it is important we come up with a mission statement that will guide this community, both inside Reddit and out in the real world, for the rest of 2026.

I can write it up but wanted to pick your brains and hear from others first.

I think it is important that part (all?) of it be goal oriented so we can track towards accomplishing it together and hold ourselves accountable. I think we should make sure part of it is fun as well that embraces who we are. Some things off the top of my head:

  • Grow this Reddit to 1.5k members
  • Get 50 new unique sign holders
  • Get 200 unique sign holding pictures (can be the same sign holders - still unique though)
  • Have 2 in person meet ups this year (start small - start somewhere)
  • Revamp the website
  • etc.

All of this is something we can build off of next year as well and increase our mission goals/change them as well.

The mission statement/goals I think need to stick to our ethos (everyone deserves financial security, even if they engineer it, and everyone deserves a community to support them along the way) as well as allow people to come to our community and participate even if they don't hold a token of AWR (this is super important to scale its growth - also provides future onramps to these individuals in the future for them to become a token holder).

What are you ideas? Would love to hear! Nothing is wrong. It's a discussion. So let me know what you think.

Sacred Signs - Selfless

Our signs are sacred

They separate us from them

Whereas they seek to exploit others for their own benefit

We wake up everyday serving community first over our egos

Selfless

Sacred Signs - Tenacity

Our signs are sacred

They separate us from them

Whereas they waver due to being inconsistent and give up on their dreams

We are unwilling to yield and have unwavering resolve to see our dreams manifested and fulfilled

Tenacity

Appreciation post!!! Thank you AWR fam!

Growth in the Reddit community continues at an exciting pace for where we were ~6 weeks ago. People are making contributions to the Reddit community by moderating, welcoming new people, and having meaningful conversations. Others are pushing the message of AWR by creating content and holding signs. Additionally people are taking action and working to understand how they can help grow AWR and serve the community first in a selfless way.

This has me so hyped!!! Grateful for this family.

Some of the greatest utility for AWR is recognizing each other with it and showing gratitude. I just wanted to shout out some people that have been consistent in their efforts for growing AWR. I sent you a little token of appreciation. 😊

Thank you r/ImpressiveFix6513, u/Bitcoin-to-the-Mars, u/Charlie_awr, u/rmn_swiss, u/SandyisBlessed, u/Loran_Lachen, u/TX_Ronin, u/Old_Stage_77, u/Infectz1337, and u/Creative-Rock-2303.

I am seeing some new people as well such as u/ElSalvadorain420 and u/Osmosisjones37. Just want to say welcome and hope you will continue to contribute to conversations and the growth of AWR.

I'm always looking to see who is active and driving change consistently. 😊

It was my choice to tip these individuals to show appreciation/gratitude. Others are free to if they would like but no tip is ever needed to show appreciation/gratitude. Is there anyone you want to shout out? Would love to hear and celebrate them as well!

What contributions I'm make currently to grow AWR (AWR Platform)

There has been a lot of amazing discussion recently about how to grow AWR and how people can contribute. We have also been talking about accountability and how we can help each other do so.

So to hold myself accountable I want to share more progress into what I am doing early and often. It will also help me collect valuable feedback.

I believe there is an opportunity to fill a need for tooling for crypto related communities that embrace the utility of the community and care deeply about it and want to grow it. To that degree I am trying to build a platform that will provide tooling to allow it to both organize, visualize, and provide a social element to communal investing. Above are some pictures about what an overview for someone might look like.

It is very early but it was created after taking feedback on an X bot we developed (https://x.com/dcaANDawrbot) that accomplished the same thing but within the X platform itself and through messaging. We believe that getting the site up first and then refocusing on our integrations into other social media platforms will help people understand the purpose of the platform and the social media integrations.

You should be able to follow along live here if you want: https://main.d2tu73ua46an7b.amplifyapp.com/

Today it is the scaffolding of the site but the infra is provisioned to support it and help it scale. Recently I have setup the authentication/authorization. Right now I am writing the first read-only backend APIs so that we can start having some live data in it (real production data generated by the X bot).

Check in often with me and ask how I am doing. Would love to continue sharing progress and have the accountability.

What are others working on? Doesn't have to be software related at all. You could be making stickers with QR codes and that is a significant contribution. You could be writing songs/music that you could play at your locals farmer market and that is a significant contribution. You could be hosting local education/workshops to help people build financial literacy and tie in AWR some how and those would be a significant contribution. Nothing is to little/small to help grow AWR.

Ideas to grow the All Will Retire community?

Our burgeoning community on Reddit has almost grown 133% in ~3+ weeks (almost four).

Making it warm and welcoming to all has been super important. It let's people participate if they want or gives lurkers reasons to come back and check in on us. One day they will decide to participate and we will have even more discussion here.

Also making this a community that has fun (our signs & memes) but also has a serious aspect of it where we discuss strategies to grow wealth, approach the market, our experiences coming up with plans and executing, also creates value for others that are looking for similar information and discussions.

And our signs are great at leaving people curious while also conveying our mindset and draws people in.

What are other peoples ideas? It would be great to continue this momentum to grow this Reddit community but also continue to push our mindset outside of Reddit and also have some live events someday.

Would love to hear what others think! No wrong ideas, even if atypical and outside of the box. We are here to grow together and stay open minded. 😊

Does anyone actively manage their 401k? Especially in this market run up?

I typically have just set my ratios of funds that I want to invest in for my 401k and not pay to much attention to it. I do check its progress but just kind of casually.

Given that the market is cooking I was considering maybe moving some of my funds into a stable cash fund to put back in once the market corrects some. How much it will correct 🤷‍♀️. But this is infinitely more management of my 401k that I have done before.

Does anyone else actively manage their 401k? If so why? Do others not actively manage it? If so why?

Would love to hear from you/others on what you do/don't do and what has worked well.

Got a chance to enjoy some nature and touch some grass yesterday with my dog.

Having a great time taking photos and spreading the message of AWR. Does anyone want to play hot potato with our signs to have some fun? Form a little group of individuals where once one person takes a photo we pass the "take a photo potato" off to another person?

What do you think u/Charlie_awr u/SandyisBlessed u/Old_Stage_77

And if anyone else is reading wants to play let us know. We can see how long we can keep the chain/passing of the potato going? Maybe we someone takes a photo within 48 hours if they get the potato passed to them? If they know they aren't available they can pass it on.

Just a fun little game to make out of our signs.

The article is behind a paywall so if you need to you can access it with archive[dot]today (which might redirect you to the [dot]ph domain).

Pretty short and sweet summary of what the market is doing today, how investors are actually cognizant of relevant metrics/data that lead to companies evaluations, as well as talking about how current consumer sentiment isn't reflective of what the stock market measures (companies performance) but in the future could impact as the impacts of higher oil/gas prices hits consumers.

It has been echoed from others that the impact of oil/gas prices and consumer spending will take time to materialize in companies earnings. Of course this may never come to be the case but most of what I am hearing is about how the immediate shocks won't materialize right away (except at the pump - which is ouch).

Again I think this is a short and sweet summary of where we are in time and space.

What do others think? Or do you have some other articles that you have read that refute this?

Just like our signs, this community is sacred.

It has brought people together to

  • Discuss financial security and peoples high-level approaches to building it as well as day-to-day plans that are being executed (e.g. trading stocks/crypto)
  • Evangelists of the movement and mindset (I Will Retire, We Will Retire, All Will Retire) through creating content and putting themselves out in the real world
  • And have fun doing it (our signs and memes)

It is something worth holding close to you, protect, and continuing to build together.

There are people I noticed over the past week that I wanted to show appreciation for and recognize! I sent you a little AWR for your contributions to either moderation/helping people get their posts approved, content creation, and/or discussions (both posts and comments).

Thank you u/Charlie_awr u/SandyisBlessed u/ImpressiveFix6513 u/rmn_swiss u/TX_RON1N u/Old_Stage_77 u/Infectz1337

What do others think? Who do they see making contributions to this community and growing the Reddit? Would love to hear so I can keep my eyes out for them in the future as well.

Seems like good earnings from major tech players recently but it also seems like the market is leery of their massive CapEx that seems like it will expand even into next year.

When the markets do see concerns it seems like they are taking big hits such as Meta.

What are people’s thoughts? Seems like the market wants to push up as long as the status quo of the Iran ceasefire persists. Maybe I am over valuing that as well.

Anyone spreading out the portfolio more and reducing some tech holdings? Would love to hear opinions.

As I said Monday I am trying to preserve capital while there is uncertainty in the markets. Want it for one of the SpaceX, OpenAI, or Anthroptic IPOs.

Oil ripped up today on the announcement that Iran will stay blockade until there is a nuclear deal.

I’ll be looking at levels of support and seeing where their might be some good buys if we test lows again.

Other than that just been doing little DCAs here and there. DCA’ed some into tech ETFs, SPX600, AWR, and BTC.

What is everyone else’s thoughts at this point in the week? Would love to hear.

It has been amazing to be part of a community that is so welcoming of others. It feels like we are building a home for ourselves and for some many others that need one. Whether they know it or not yet.

The community grew tremendously as a result of our openness and kindness last week. Wanted to send token of my gratitude and appreciation for making this a special home for all and growing the All Will Retire family.

Thanks to (in no specific order): u/SandyisBlessed u/rmn_swiss u/Loran_Lachen u/Charlie_awr u/ImpressiveFix6513 u/Infectz1337 u/Old_Stage_77

I am sure there are others too but that is who I saw/recognize. I will keep a look out for you that are kind, welcoming, and building AWR for the future.

I also want to shout out and recognize someone who is doing it one day at a time. I'll leave it at that but you know who you are and we see you.
