Concerning court case in Rhode Island
This is bodily autonomy and privacy rights not directly reproductive rights
The records are anonymized and it looks as though the ruling gives them to the judge in the case not the DOJ while the appeals are being litigated.
The current conservative movement is using public hysteria over gender affirming care (they have been VERY effective at whipping people into an ignorant frenzy over hospitals "mutilating children") to attack both privacy and bodily autonomy rights. Once they set those precedents in cases involving transgender care, they will absolutely, 100% use those precedents in cases involving abortion.
