Hi everyone!

I’m 35 weeks pregnant and just tried doing perineal massage for the first time. Now I’m wondering what the inside of the vagina is actually supposed to feel like 😅

What I’m feeling is kind of soft/fluffy tissue shaped almost like a short tube on top of my perineum, plus some small irregularities or folds of "tissue". I saw in one video that I should glide my finger in a U shape from 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock, but it doesn't really work for me, since I can't glide because of all the irregularities I described.

For those of you who have done perineal massage on yourselves, what does the inside usually feel like to the touch?
