Why do I keep having a hold on my account????
I opened my account on 05/05/26, did a mobile deposit to insert funds. After calling daily for about 6 days to verify my identity, it finally cleared.
(understandably because it’s a new account).
Today, I did a mobile transfer with my paycheck and they are holding it until 05/23/26. WHY? I went to the branch and they said it was because it’s a new account, and to not do mobile deposits anymore. I literally went through this last time.
The check is from the same company, like why are they doing this?
I’m freaking out because I live check to check and have $0.97 left to my name. My partner just got laid off so it’s just my income right now.
I’m currently at work, so I can’t call anyone, and frankly don’t need to be told they can’t help me again.
Should I just switch banks? What is going on?
