Is there hope
I hope I’m not sounding like a broken record here with a “low gpa” post but I just went through my ABSN program with a 3.1 GPA. My overall GPA is about 3.2.
I’m just about to interview today for a CVICU level 3 trauma as a new grad. I didn’t think I would be interested in CRNA school until now.
I’m going to be honest, the ABSN was a learning curve for me and I had to learn to study properly. I made some C’s in patho, pharm, and med surg. I know these are rigorous and important for CRNA school. I am thinking of retaking the classes if I apply to CRNA, as well as take the required biochem/ochem and stats courses. (GRE of course too.) I think I also need to prove to myself I can handle the intensity of CRNA school academically.
I’m not sure if it’s worth the extra work to get in, if I’m not going to get in anyways? What does everyone think?
