WARNING DO NOT TRUST MIDDLE TENNESSEE BOXER RESCUE
My mother recently applied to foster a boxer puppy from them (to my knowledge puppy was still unnamed) cute lil black and white thing, one of my mom's first questions was if she was good with cats. Pup had NOT been screened or vaccinated previously; she was just getting a round of shots the day my mom picked up the pup. She contacted the rescue multiple times for 2 days saying the puppy was sick and theres something wrong with her, the rescue folks saying "its fine she's probably just has separation anxiety" before my mom took her to the vet. What do you know turns out pup has freakin PARVO. Took pup back bc there's other animals in the house, most notably my cat atm (im gone for THREE DAYS) and now everyone is on damage control for the other pet(s) in the house. The rescue is now asking for donations for the puppies treatment, not helping out with getting other pet(s) checked out. Or disclosing they tried to foster out a dog with parvo to a family with other animals.
