Def heater problems
I already know everyone is going to tell me to delete but its not feesable right now so I need real solutions please.
I own a 2012 VW Passat I recently replaced my DEF heater about 2000km ago due to heater failure and level sensor leading to a no start count down (300km till possible no start). After replacing the entire heater along with sensors everything was great until about 3 days ago I went on a long drive. When I started my car the next day I have a countdown this time 250km till possible no start and a P205C (reductant tank temp sensor circut low) code nothing else.
When I was replacing the heater I check to ensure all the connections were in good condition and no broken wires or corrosion. I didnt use any sensor cleaner as it didnt seem like any of them needed it. Has anyone had this happen before. Why would it clear all the codes for an extended period before returning ?
Any help is appreciated, please dont tell me to delete unless it possible to delete adblue without deleting anything else. I could be open to that idea if its not just as expensive as a full delete.
