Hi everyone!
I’m a 25-year-old student from Italy and I’m moving to Istanbul for 10 months. I’ll be an Erasmus student at Altinbas University, studying medicine. Since this is my first Erasmus experience (and also my first time living away from my parents), I have a few questions:

-Is €1140 enough to live comfortably in Istanbul? (This is the monthly amount my university will provide me with. If necessary, my parents could give me an extra €200–300, but I’d rather not spend too much money.)

-Which is the best area to stay in Istanbul? (My medicine classes will be held at the Bakırköy campus.)
