Too close to bridesmaid dress?

Soo I ordered this dress in Plum and need to exchange sizes. Alas, the shop is sold out of my size in the color so my remaining options are:
• White ❌ (obvious no go)
• Black ❌ (outdoor ceremony and reception in summer)
• Steel blue (pics 1 and 2)
• Emerald (pic 3)
• Return (would like to avoid because the shop charges 15% for returns instead of exchanges)

My fiancé is the best man, so I am trying to avoid wearing the same color as the bridesmaids’ dresses (pic 4). I feel like both colors may be too close lol. I can also ask the bride what she thinks, but I want to avoid bugging her about it if they’re obviously too close.

Help me style my dress! Veil/hair accessories, sleeves/gloves, bustle, jewelry

I’m getting married in October, ceremony and reception are both indoors.

I’d love any suggestions for what kind of veils or hair accessories!

Also, I definitely want to add a bit of arm coverage. Should I do something like the right off-shoulder option in the second pic, or do gloves (lace? same material as the dress? how long?)? Or any other ideas, like lace toppers, boleros, shawls, etc? I feel like I see adding arm coverage is kind of a hot topic so sorry to be that girl but as a plus-sized woman I am very insecure about my arms so this is kind of a must 🙈

I’m thinking of doing a ballroom bustle, but if you think a different bustle would be a better fit then I am totally open to suggestions!

And finally, what style of necklace should I wear?

Thank you in advance!!!
