Best cloud manufacturer partner for electrical contractor.
Asking for a friend's business, they've been doing Access Control service/install for almost 20 years as an electrical contractor for a large hospital. They're looking to branch out and build their business to be able to offer small business cloud systems. They've almost exclusively worked on a large Lenel system, so they're very familiar working with Mercury hardware. I don't know the small/medium cloud space very well, so wanted to see what the community says these days. They're looking to offer installs for small businesses, churches, maybe small medical clinics.
I recommended Genea, and they were also interested in Elements. I wasn't sure if you could be just a Elements VAR without being a Lenel VAR.
What do you guys think? They've got all the experience and electrical chops, but don't have the nerds yet to support server/on prem installs.
